Great looking and performs well. I would have preferred a finger print resistant finish but that was not available.

Love the look. Runs very quietly. Easy to find the food. Lots of ways to arrange shelves.

We waited for our Cafe ref for 3 months before it was finally delivered. The wait is well worth it! It paired well with our Cafe Double oven. The refrigirator & freezer space it provided was exactly the amount of space we needed for our family of 5. The biggest plus is it definitely looks good!

Nice product but plastic protection removal is not good. It is still stuck in the seams and hard to remove.

I installed these appliances in November of 2020. Our entire kitchen is designed around them. Love love love them!

Although it took a while to get to us (thanks pandemic) it was definitely worth the wait! I love everything about it!

I bought this refrigerator a month ago and I absolutely love it.

Easy setup, hot water is something I didn't know I needed out of a fridge. We use it all the time for Tea/Ramen/coffee....etc! The only issue I had was trying to get the photos to load with the proper rotation.

Delivered two weeks ago. So far, so good. I sure hope this one lasts!!

Due to Covid it took four months to get. But worth it. Focal point of my kitchen.

Hot water heater takes several minutes to warm up. Chrome inside fridge in front of shelves bubbles and peels off after a few months of use Drawers aren’t able to be removed without taking out the entire shelves both doors have to be open to open deli drawer. There’s no alarm on the freezer door if it doesn’t close all the way like most fridges have now to alert you the door didn’t close.

Replaced and disappointing LG with this to match our Cafe oven and cooktop. The inside is very similar to LG, so the transition was easy. The Cafe has a much larger ice making capability with a larger in door bin. It’s touch panel and controls for dispensing ice and water are excellent. Keeps all food fresh and frozen perfectly. Can’t be beat for beauty, Lots of in door space in the bins. Ours came with some scratches on all the doors which we noticed within ghr first week, thankfully. GE has a 7 day cosmetic warranty. So we called the problem in right away, they sent out an authorized service company, and all three doors are being replaced at no cost. So inspect carefully right away for cosmetic flaws. Expensive, but worth it. We have the matte white and changed to the brushed stainless handles.

We moved into our home a two weeks ago and had the cafe series installed at our home. It was a major step up from our Samsung appliances we had at our last place. The hot water dispenser was a nice added touch that we have made full use of for our morning tea.

This refrigerator is about a month old and I am so pleased we decided on GE Cafe. We love the hot water dispenser for tea and hot chocolate. And it’s size makes it perfect for our family of 5.

Been using less than a month, but enjoying it so far. Love the hot water dispenser. I do hear it goes through water filters quickly, but haven’t come across that yet since it’s so new. Large drawers and love the different temperature a settings with them all

We waited 3 weeks to have this fridge delivered and the wait was so worth it! It is beautiful, sleek, large, spacious, there is great use of the space. Live it

The ice maker leaks water, the upper shelf of the fridge freezes anything liquid and the freezer ices up and leaks water everywhere. This is my second fridge of this model with the same issues. The repair guys from GE keeps saying they never see this problem, but I can’t be the only one with this issue. Save your time and money, buy a different brand.

We love our cafe refrigerator!! Beautiful and stylish!! Hoping to upgrade the rest of my kitchen at some point with same color and style

Had a terrible experience with Smsng unit with terribly designed ice maker. This GE Monaghan Cafe unit is better quality and design. Hot water too!

I bought this a few years ago and noticed strange noises from the start. The repair man kept coming and saying “sounds fine to me”, I had had a GE refrigerator for 15 years prior and knew that the noises were not “normal”. Four short years into ownership and the fridge is incredibly loud, sometimes it sounds like a small gas motor engine, and it’s failing. Needless to say I’m disappointed and could not recommend based on our experience. It is very pretty and the hot water dispenser is good. The ice compartment is too small but that’s par for the price point.

I purchased the Cafe Refrigerator Model CFE28TP3MD1 a few months ago and it has been the best kitchen purchase decision I have made. It has a beautiful finish on the exterior along with beautiful handles with lots of finish choices. It has amazing features such as touch screen controls, exterior cold & hot water dispenser with auto cubed or crushed ice, beautiful interior recessed lighting and lots of space inside of top refrigerator as well as in the bottom freezer. Two of my favorite features are undoubtedly the text messaging notification feature when your hot water is ready along with the photo slide show. This new refrigerator is most definitely a showpiece in our kitchen and engages my family and friends as they pass by. Everyone who visits asks who makes this refrigerator and I proudly tell them GE and that the Cafe series is one of their new lines. I would say that this IOTs refrigerator is one of my new best tech friends. All in all, it is a well made refrigerator and I would highly recommend this appliance! It's simply the best!

We bought 3 Cafe appliances a few weeks ago. Our home is older and it required the installers to take the doors off of the refrigerator to bring it into the house. This caused one door to be out of alignment with the other- a problem that was fixed when installers came back. I was concerned that the crooked door was responsible for the bottom edge of the left door hitting the wall upon opening. The problem was not fixed after realigning the door because the wall is out of plumb and there was not enough space for the doors to open fully. Buyer beware that because of where the axis of the door hinge is placed and the depth of the doors, you will still need additional clearance space to fully open your door beyond the measurements of your refrigerator space- an issue that was not explained by my salesperson and not correctly examined by me! Secondly, I was dismayed to find that the doors only swing to about 130 degrees. They do not swing fully open to 180 degrees. There is no adjustment to the door stop. I cannot pull the produce/meat drawers out of their compartments without either taking off the door shelving or dismantling the whole shelf on which the bins hang. This makes washing the drawers and walls more difficult. Finally, the water/ice maker in the door, mandatory for my family, is very loud. We were excited to get a new refrigerator because our old one was so noisy. This one is much louder. The service person said that because the freezer is on the bottom, the compressor has to work harder to move cold air up to the door to keep the ice frozen. So the compressor runs almost continuously to perform. The ice storage also is smaller on the in-door model than what we are used to. That said, I love the big open freezer on the bottom of the appliance. It is so much easier to reach for and see items compared to our old side by side. I am very happy with the matte black finish- no fingerprints, easy to clean and very attractive. I love the hot water feature in the door. So extravagant! It takes a few minutes to warm the water initially and only pours 10 oz at a time- less than the size of a normal mug. But the second heating is much quicker than the first one of the morning. I won't return this appliance because I love my Cafe induction range and microwave as well as the finish on all the appliances. The induction cooking surface is so easy to clean and a great feature about the oven is that the metal shelving is coated with a finish that allows you to leave the shelves in place while using the self-clean feature.

I have had my eye on the GE Cafe series appliance for years. I have a contemporary cabinet and I wanted a matching flat (no bow) front panel refrigerator in stainless. I have 3 kids and wanted a big fridge with water and ice that was easily assessable for them. The in door water hot water is a bonus for tea etC. The finish on the stainless is great and so far my kids haven’t managed to dent it. It does get finger prints but I prefer a little elbow grease and stainless polish over the no-finger print material. Since upgrading to this fridge, I have been able to fit all my regular food shopping and party food shopping without the need to turn on my spare fridge.

It’s convenient having the fridge on top vs a side by side. Love the space! My kids love it!

I will try to keep this short... We received our new refrigerator and the following things needed to be immediately replaced. + Door gaskets - Split in both upper door gaskets. Plus one door gasket was improperly seated causing the refrigerator to run constantly + Left hand refrigerator door - because of dent + Freezer door and rails - Door is not aligned properly. Does not open and close properly. Technician attempted to adjust and could not fix it. + Water filter - Water pressure is poor causing the Hot Water feature to be disabled. Now to the noise... Read their Owners Manual before you buy. It specifically states that this refrigerator will be noisier than your old refrigerator. There are fans used for circulating the air within the refrigerator compartment. These fans run intermittently even if you don't open the refrigerator. The noise is comparable to the sound of a toy drone. I've been in computers for years, and have used PC's with powerful fans that don't make anywhere near the noise the refrigerator makes. Needless to say, this has been a disappointing experience.

That's refrigerator is very beautiful and is large enough for everything I've needed it for so far. The shelves are easy to move in-and-out, the ice and water work really well, it is a nice touch to have the hot water in the door, it's really nice for baking. If you are familiar with the GE profile refrigerator, this one is very similar because that's the one I had before this one and they are almost identical.
