The safety latch is very cumbersome. Otherwise the thing works as claimed

Just as ordered. This come-a-long will do the job.

It was advertised to have one click at a time release. It did not work.

Returned it! The release mechanism did not work. Well it might have but I would have lost a finger. I ended up buying a smaller one off he shelf instead of a special order and it worked fine. Could it have anything to do with where it was made? The off the shelf one was made in the USA. BTW. The release mechanism that did not work was exactly the same as the first one I purchased, yes I gave them 2 chances, so it was not a defective piece, it was a defective design. Before I retired I was a mechanical design engineer so I know what I am talking about!

This cable puller failed when I first used it on a load well below its stated capacity. It should either be engineered to perform at rated capacity or rated at a lower capacity. The bolt on the spool and crank broke while under load and the spool collapsed a bit.

The cable end came out of the puller the first time I tried to use it, I will be returning it to the store.

The cable is too short it did not say the length in the ad . Can’t do much of anything with it maybe if wire fencing that seems to be about all also you have to have two hands on it to hold the levers to keep them from stopping it when you’re trying to release it which is a real pain because you really need a third hand To operate the arm.

The cable wouldn’t extend from the puller. After removing several burs from the ratchet assembly the product worked as expected. .

No instructions came with it, after watching a YouTube video we got it figured out, but it did the trick we needed it to do!

Very difficult to unroll and use in general

EXACTLY what my husband wanted.

I messed with it for a while only to find it was missing a significant piece. I drove from PA to the Binghamton store to return it. Had to purchase another kind. Made sure it worked. The other I purchased online. The staff at the store was helpful though.

The puller was good. The cable was mis-advertised as being longer than it actually was.

The puller was defective. I was not able to make the puller release the cable. Icalled the company to get help, and they told me the puller was defective, and return it to the store.

I used this come along to put tension on some large trees I was dropping on my property. It worked great.

This is a great come along! It does everything one costing twice the price will do! I highly recommend this product!

Not recommended...this tool was a Chinese made piece of Junk. I spent an hour just trying to unwind the cable. The cable was wound over itself from the factory. Also it doesn't provide a release once tension is applied. Refer back to "You get what you pay for" .
