Works great!
Purchased this to replace our previous B&D edger that finally died after 28 years. So far this one is great! It cuts quick, fast and precise. So much easier than the old one that required a bit of muscle.

great machine .

I'm happy with this purchase. I like not worrying about gas/oil mix. I like the stability of it with the wheels. My only issue is that I wish the handle was longer so that I could have a different angle when I'm using it.

Edger works great on 1.5" setting. It went through growth that hadn't been edged in years.

Brushes broke after about 3 hours of use
Completely stopped working in the middle of edging my lawn. Took it apart and one of the copper tabs had broken off on the motor brush. This was all inside the housing so nothing that I could have done would have broken it. Just poor quality engineering or manufacturing.

A bit cumbersome to align blade to trim individual square pavers. But, workks great along sidewalk & driveway to trim grass!

Working Well
The edger works well and has lots of power to cut the grass and move the dirt. You must respect this power, and how you use this tool, as kick-backs can easily happen. I like to use the minimum depth first and then follow up with deeper cut once the line has been established.

Beast!
I borrowed one of these from my dad and assumed it would be a little faster than using a weed trimmer with string. Holy Featherbed Bench, Edward Scissorhands! Give this thing 20 minutes and a power cord, and you can start charging a park entrance fee to your friends and family. Seriously nasty value with pro results!
