Easy to install and does lift off easy for cleaning...but...
Easy to install and does lift off easy for cleaning...but it is very cheaply made. The seat and lid are very thin. The hinges have more than a bot of play, and the seat is almost 1/2" too short. It doesn't go toothed edge of my toilet.

Bemis Manufacturing offers a one year manufacturing defect warranty that is handled through the location of purchase. We have an agreement with Home Depot to replace the seat when within warranty. Please return your defective seat to the store for immediate warranty replacement, or you may try to work it out with Home Depot to replace with a different model. Place your item in a clear plastic bag. The retail store does not have to keep your used seat in the store or handle it in any way. They will simply view the damage and give you a new warranty seat sending your broken one home with you. Easy install and adds a clean look. It’s a great seat if you have a bathroom that the kids use for easy cleaning. Just make sure that you don’t over clampdown on the screws.

Feels a little cheap. Nice that it closes slowly, but it actually closes TOO slowly. You have to give it a good push to get it to fall all the way down.

Despite being assured that this would work on any toilet...
Despite being assured that this would work on any toilet seat, this is too long and does not fit properly (let me state the obvious: am NOT a DIY-er, walking into Home Depot makes me anxious, so I am totally reliant on help from the sales staff).

Elongated soft close toilet seat
It isn't easy to find a soft close, elongated seat (plastic) that has the seat ring part as wide as the lid. Almost all I purchased, the rings were an inch more narrow. I returned 2 & kept this one. I wasn't able to use this item in the bathroom I was shopping for so we installed it in the powder room. To get what I was looking for, it was more expensive but purchased 1 from Overstock.
I would recommend this item if you're okay with the small ring.
