[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this paint on my kitchen ceiling. The house had been owned by people who smoked for years. Between that and just basic kitchen grease, it was completely yellowed. Even after we'd scrubbed it down, it was gross. I would catch the smell occasionally, and there were darker patches. So we painted the ceiling with two coats in a creamy white shade. It has worked so , so well. The paint went on very easily, and we've had no bleed-through or spots. That smell is gone and I feel like it's all captured and covered with the paint. Due to the light color, the whole kitchen feels brighter and all in all, it's just a lot more pleasant.

I just finished painting with Behr Ultra Stain-Blocking Ceiling paint and the ceiling is white again! I’ve used Behr paint before and really love it. The pouring cap is genius!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this paint to paint a ceiling and after i painted it the tape seams showed through and the ceiling was discolored. I went back to home depot to the paint department to tell them. Ran into a Behr paint Representive and told him what happened. He gave me some Behr primer, some more paint at no charge and told me when I was done to send a labor bill to Behr and they would reimburse me for the labor. I've been using Behr paint ever since. A product is only as good as the Company behind it. I've been using Behr paint ever since. This was about 40 years ago. I'm a contractor and I won't use any other product. But Behr. Great paint. Great Company.

Some stains have been literally 75 years old and never been addressed. If you use a heavy primer (2-3 coats) and the Behr Ceiling paint - you will have a great end result.
