It took me a bit to realize I need to purchase an architectural post for an architectural mailbox. But after I returned the cheap plastic original post I had and bought this one I was pleased. Set it in concrete totally level, it matched up with bottom pattern of mailbox perfectly no adapter needed. This mailbox and post complete is a beast! I love it!

This post worked perfectly with my locking mailbox. It was delivered with a defect, and Architectural Mailboxes responded immediately to my call and shipped a new one immediately, that arrived in perfect condition. It met my needs.

It is heavy, fully painted and well-made. In the instructions for the matching mailbox that I bought, it stated that the mounting hardware would be with the post. It wasn't. Also, one half of the mounting plate was bent as if it had been dropped. Well, I had some appropriate hardware and was able to straighten the plate with a sledge hammer and from then on it went well and met my expectations.

A sleek, sturdy post that goes perfectly with my Architectural mailbox. We installed it last week and it definitely met our expectations.

Well manufactured. Will have to see how paint holds up over time. Only complaint is the 5/16 hex head bolts sent with the post. They should be round or oval headed so they don't stick up and block smooth loading of mail inside mailbox (also manufactured by Architectural Mailboxes). I had to go purchase correct ones.

I purchased this to mount a 5100 series box. I'm glad I bought this post and didn't use a wooden post with an adapter. I sunk it about 18" and used #80 sack of concrete. I let it set overnight and mounted the box the next morning. It is very solid and heavier gauge steel than the post sold in the store. Excellent powder coat too. Well packaged and comes in a plastic sleeve that helps keep it from getting banged up when you are installing it. Well worth the money and a must if you are using the bigger 5100 or 5103 series boxes. The shipping was fast and "free" with my order, I ordered it on Monday afternoon and it arrived on that Friday.

This is a beautiful mailbox. I purchased all three pieces - Spreader plate, 2 mailboxes, and the stand. I checked everywhere and Home Depot had the best price

This post is obviously made specifically for the mailbox. It is of heavy construction, beautifully powder coated and fit the mailbox PERFECTLY. High quality nuts, bolts and washers are included along with basic instructions.

Product better than described. Originally ordered wrong color and customer service team was able to correct the situation with little to no hassle.
