We have had this toilet for over 2 years. The Ever Clean surface really works. Easy to clean and no water rings. It flushes perfectly every time. The only con is the flush handle is plastic. We replaced it with a more sturdy one.

Good Replacement Unit
Overall I like this unit, but I had to replace a leaking flush valve seal after 18 months. Fortunately they are available at [@] for around $6.The installation can be a bit intimidataing- when you attach the tank to the bowl you have to tighten it down so hard that it seems like someting is going to break. I took my time and didn't have any problems.

Space detemined selection
I'm most impressed with this toilet's flushing system: one flick of the wrist is all that it takes and the bowl is clean again. Not so with some toilets I've had in the past. Easy installation is also a plus. Would like to have had the elongated model but limited space dictated my decision. Would recommend this product wholeheartedly.

I would buy this product again and again
I own two. One located in the master bedroom bathroom and the other in my finished basement half bathroom. Never had to use a plunger as with my old toilet. So far, I am very pleased with how they are working.

Excellent Flush - never fails
Very reliable - has never plugged in two years of use. Relatively quiet, and a good seating height. Minor cons: flimsy plastic seat - plan on using your own. The upper inside of the bowl doesn't receive much water, so it doesn't always completely wash clean. A worthwhile trade-off for a powerful flush. Highly recommended.

Put one in every bathroom in your house
It does conserve water, and you can control the timing of the flush with the lever so you get a quick flush or a full flush. The flush lever is plastic inside and did break but was promptly replaced by customer service. The design of the lever should be more squared, fingers slide off the pointed end.

Stuck
I bought two of these toilets. One for each bathroom I had. The first one was installed properly and worked great. The second one was installed proplerly but had a corrupt fill valve. Do you know what its like to drain a toilet over and over? I had to buy a new valve because I could not return the old one to the store. Apparently, I have to return it to American Standard. It's only a [$] piece, but really, who wants to take the time to do that. After the fill valve was installed, the toilet works great. I would be hesitant to buy one of these toilets again. When you buy something new, and take it out of the box and then it does not work properly...that's really frustrating and not everyone can afford a plumber to decifer the problem. So it's trial and error until you figure out its not you, its the product.

Flushes well
After installation I noted a persistent small leak. One of the water passages had a hole in it. Rather than take advantage of the warranty, I caulked it with silicone caulk, since I didn't want to lug it back to the store.

the unstoppable CHAMPION
I was skeptical when I saw the "no plunger" logo on the display at the home center but this toilet's performance has been unbelievable. Why did I wait so long to replace my previous toilet?!?! The customer service has been great when I've needed parts (flush valve gaskets). It would be nice to just pick up these parts at the home center but perhaps with so many different toilet internals it will difficult to stock "standard" parts.

Expectations Met
Three of these were installed professionally in our home recently. The seat/lid on one of the three seems flimsy. The bowl interior of one has a small flaw which shows up as a gray spot. Otherwise we are happy with our choice. Cons: the flushing (rarely needs a second flushing), the seat height, and the EverClean feature--bowl cleaning is no longer necessary every couple of weeks.

I have purchased three
We looked very carefully before purchasing a new toilet. I spent a lot of time on the internet gathering information. We choose to purchase this model due to efficiency and water savings. We have since purchased two additional toilets for a total of three. I also installed one of these in my daughters home.I also recommend this model to others when they are shopping for a new toilet. As a matter of fact, I recommended it to someone in [@] that was looking at toilets and wasn't sure which one to buy.

Never have to flush more than once
This toilet is used on a daily basis and never had to use a plunger as with the toilet it replaced. Plastic flush hand has sharp corners and leaves a lot to be desired.

A very reliable flush system.
After doing some research to replace our 25 year old toilet, we decided on the AS Champion. We ordered it from HD, and they delivered it to our home for free, which was a plus. The toilet was very easy to install. We did buy a brushed nickel flush valve to replace the cheap-looking plastic "chrome" one supplied with the kit. The toilet itself looks okay. It isn't unattractive, but it won't win any beauty contests. The best part is it works beautifully: quiet and efficient. We have finally been able to put the plunger in the garage where it belongs! Also, it has enough water moving when you flush to clean the bowl (unlike the other top brand we were considering.) We chose the round bowl to save some space. It is a little taller than our old one, but not too tall (as some other brands seemed to be), so those of us who are not 6 feet tall are comfortable. We are happy with our purchase.

Nice tiolet - if you like leaks!!
Replaced my original 14 year old tiolet with the A.S. Champion 4 tiolet. If this works good - I was going to replace an additional 2 tiolets with the same. What a piece of junk!! Already took 1 tank back to HD due to a leak and looks like I may be taking back my replacement. The seal between the tank and bowl is a joke!! It does not fit properly and seem to be a universal seal (one size fits all type) - hence the reason for the leak. I talked with a associate at HD and told him about the seal and he said "You are not the only person who had a problem with the seal". Should be a product recall on this tiolet. Avoid the hassle and invest in a 1piece tiolet!!

Seems like a good product at a fair price from a reliable home improvement store.
The Champion 4 round front combo toilet in linen is pretty much what was needed. Its got the right features and performance to get the job done.

Now have two of these in our home
We now have two of these particular toilets installed in our home and find them to be great. They operate flawlessly. And they stay clean. Since we replaced some older larger tank toilets, the only adjustment we have had to make is not being able to pile as much "accessories" on top of the tank lid.

This product has a high flush capacity, 1.6 gpf.
This toilet has a nice, sleek design. The primary selling point & the reason I purchased it was for the powerful flush. It uses 1.6 gpf, and the siphon outlet is the largest. I should never need a plunger again.
