Would have preferred if unit would have been 100% wireless. Wire makes wall mounting unattractive....100% wireless would have earned five star rating

The unit suddenly lost the digital readout for the indoor temperature. I had to return the defective unit back to Home Depot.

This was a gift and the recipient loves it - easy to use, provides so much useful info and it is portable - he plans to take it to his cabin when on vacation. I think I may need one!

The weather station was available for pickup within a couple of hours. It was easy to setup and so far is working great for the 2 weeks we have been using.

I had this unit for a few years now. I found it to be the most reliable weather station I own. I have two from another popular brand and the Acurite one never loses its sensor reception like the other two. Daylight savings time changes automatically, which I like. My other two rely on a signal from Colorado. The one unit may take a week before it recognizes the signal and the other never does. I always have to change it manually. The sensor is on a fence in the back yard facing the opposite direction and the unit itself is in a front bedroom. After owning it for a few years now, the reception has never been lost. I see what the other reviewer means by the viewing angle is not the best. But it is still not bad. The batteries rarely need replacing like the other two units I own. It seems to be fairly accurate. I like the moon phase and barometric pressure display. I would definitely recommend this unit.

Easy to read

The temps were inaccurate at first but I kept adjusting them and it seemed to settle down and now it reads within a degree or so of what I believe is right. I've had it a couple months and I like the features and the display.

Can not see it very well from a distance but we do like that it has lots of different readings besides the temperature.

The AcuRite Weather Station works perfect and auto set to the correct time and date out of the box. There wasn’t an issue with it finding the outside sensor, like the old station. The moon cycle is very cool, where it shows the size of the current one.

Took it back, wanted one that was battery operated only not AC

Getting ready to try a few more help line suggestions, then may have to return it. The information on the display is awesome, but it doesn't stay lit. I went for "name brand" duracell batteries, as advised, that didn't correct it. Will try the other suggestions, then will need to return it, if it does not stay lit. Thank you for asking.

Easy set-up, easy to read and convenient size.

I cannot give you a rating . I cannot get it to program at all. does not light up. I lost the receipt and cannot return it .I tried but no success without receipt.

There are two reasons for this poor rating: 1) the screen is not very bright, even on the brightest setting, and hard to see from even 3'-4' away 2) the packaging is mis-leading as it doens't clearly talk about the fact that this unit has to be plugged into the wall. I returned it to Home Depot for these reasons.
