Ipurchased this little shelf to hold my phone base unit with message center (Panasonic w/Bluetooth). My phone outlet was too high to mount the unit to and the shelf allowed me to lower its position. Te little shelf (6x12") was large enough to hold the unit and a small pad/pencil without protruding too far from the wall and was the perfect solution to my problem. The mounting could have been better engineered, as I had to "shim" it a bit to make it level.

They look great up on the wall but they seem to warp a little either because of the material or the installation so you will need to tweak the mounting a little to make them look straight

This shelf could not be installed in the way intended on our wall. It turned out the the wall was not perfectly even and so it was impossible to put the shelf onto both screws. In the end we had to buy brackets to mount the shelf, which meant the shelf was not floating and did not have the modern look we wanted.

It really needs much better hardware to make this a sturdy floating shelf..it is held up on wall with two screws one on each corner ... in my opinion it needs at least four spread out evenly....

This shelf looks nice once up, and is made of solid wood... but for as SIMPLE of a product it is, it's a little over priced. PLUS, the mounting is pretty basic, that if you don't set your screws in the wall to the EXACT depth, you'll get some wiggle in the shelf itself. It's your basic picture frame type of hanger... where it's drilled out to fit the head of the screw-head, and then you push the shelf down so it funnels up about 1/4" through the grove that's only as big as the shaft of the screw to be secured. So basically if you bump it from underneath, it would pop off the wall. Also, it is NOT A TRUE WHITE COLOR!!! It's an off-white, antique white. So I had to spray paint it to be a bright white.

I ordered 3 of these to put in a hallway. They were well-packaged and well-made. However, they do not look like some of the floating shelves I've seen because they edge is thicker than the shelf itself. I prefer the look of the ones that are the same thickness, but these will serve my needs, plus it's hard to find 60" wide shelves.

I started reviewing the shelves yesterday, got interrupted and lost the review. I'm so glad I did because my first impression of the unfinished project was a little harsh. My first thoughts: darker than expected, the underside doesn't show well because it has a "lip" like the top side rather than being flush. BUT, now that all are up, and I've put them to use, I LOVE 'em!! They are the perfect depth for my needs, the groove works wonders for picture frames and other things that would otherwise topple over, the color works after all, and I don't even notice the underside. Word of caution: Try the screws in the back of the shelf before drilling into your wall. They weren't big enough to keep the shelves from wobbling. We had to use concrete screws anyway, but they were big enough to hold the shelves well. LOVE!!!

the shelf looks great once we got it hung. my husband had to incorporate wall "L" brackets to make the shelf secure to the wall. The holes drilled in the back to accommodate the screws were not correct making the shelf wobbly. A better hanging system would be recommended, especially for the price of this item.

This shelf looks fantastic above my daughters bedroom window. It was very easy to install and I have received many compliments asking where to buy it from my family. It came well wrapped and not a nick or ding on it which is surprising nowadays when you purchase anything. Well worth the money spent. I purchased the white one and it looks exactly as I expected and more. It also has a groove that runs across the top if you wanted to put a picture or book to keep them from sliding down. Hope this helps in your decision.

I really like the looks of these shelves but have not yet hung them as we have concerns about the flimsy end-grain key slot hole designed to support them. We are looking to add a metal plate that might be sturdier...

I was looking for high quality shelves for a reasonable price. That is exactly what I received. They were easy to install. Everything was enclosed in the shipment. My shipment went to my local Home Depot store.

I was thrilled to find this product. I had looked many places and couldn't find a black plain shelf. I plan to buy more now that I can see the quality.

The shelf is fine but the color was not at all like the picture. Looked like a medium oak. I didn't want to pay the return shipping so my husband is in the process of sanding and restaining to get the dark color I expected.

The color I wanted was chocolate. It was more red than brown. Not the quality of product I would expect for the price.

Although they are floating shelves, we had to add L brackets and find the wall studs in which to secure them. I painted the brackets to match the wall. We attached the L brackets to the top of the shelves so that I may hide them with the displayed frames. Now they look great and I know they are secured!

This is a really nice looking shelf. We got the 60" shelf in the mahogany color to display a wooden toy train in our son's room. It arrived quickly and in great condition. For a shelf that long, however, and depending on what you plan to put on it, we thought the mounting hardware was inadequate for support. It could really use some support in the middle rather than just at the two ends. We ended up devising our own mounting strategy. Looks great in the end, but just FYI!

Searched high and low for a 12inch shelf for a bathroom remodel, and was lucky to find these! Other stores had larger shelves but for the limited space, these were spot on. Bought (4) of the honey colored and they were just as pictured. The ledge has a convenient lip that helps keep items from sliding off. The only qualm is the screws that arrived with it -- we ended up using anchors that we already had at home for the plaster wall.

After previously ordering other wall shelving in a natural finish, I wanted some individual shelves to match or, at least, complement them. The Euro Floating Shelves are the perfect complement!

I was very disappointed in the quality of these shelves. Based on other things I had bought from this company and at this price, I had expected them to be very nice. They did not have the "satiny finish" and the joins in the wood were not tight.

The shelves arrived and they're even lovely than the picture on-line. Since the wall we wanted to hang them on was slightly bowed, so we couldn't use the holes at the back of the shelves to hang them without looking weird. We found pretty shelf bracket supports to use instead & they look very nice on the wall.

These shelves are just was I was looking for. Bought 2 of them and had no problems hanging them.

This black shelf is nicely done. One caveat: no anchors for the screws were included and you due to the weight of a 24 or 36 inch shelve, an anchor is desirable at least and, in my opinion, necessary.

There are not many floating shelves around with simple lines like this one. Also they don't often come in 12 inch size. Happy with purchase.

I have looked at this shelf for a year and finally ordered two of them. My husband put them up for me, and I put picture of my grandchildren on them. LOVE my new wall display!

My husband put this up above my son's bedroom window in about 10 minutes. It's solid and looks great and holds all my son's NBA figures he's been collecting for years. The lip on the edge holds everything in place. We love it! Wish I had bought it sooner. My son asked if we could get another one to go over his desk to hold his basketball trophies!

The shelf is just perfect for our office kitchen. It doesn't come with product to hang the shelf, which is an inexpensive way to make the product user friendly, so it remains sitting on my desk until I make the trip to Home Depot..which I was trying to avoid. This is why I was shopping online.
