A:  Thank you for your question- The subfloor surface must be smooth, flat, dry, clean and solid. Subfloors should be flat within a tolerance of 1/4" (6 mm) over 10' (3.05 m). Subfloors should not slope more than 1" (2.5 cm) per 6' (1.8 m) in any direction. Rises or voids must be sanded or filled with a cementitious leveling/patching compound.

A:  Thank you for your question- If the adhesive strips are pulling up, you can use super glue. Just a small bead down the strip, use a hand roller and roll the seam. Be sure not to get any of the glue on the bottom of the planks, as this will attach the planks to the floor, and it won't be able to expand and contract as a unit.

A:  Thanks for your question. It really is best to remove the sticky substance completely but if you can't, the way to fix it will depend on your subfloor. If you have plywood, an additional layer or plywood or luan is the way to cover it. If you have concrete, you can use the 6 mil poly sheeting.

A:  Thank you for your question- We recommend using flat floor protectors (nylon or felt) on all furniture legs. Periodically clean protectors to remove grit that may become embedded and cause scratching.
