A: You'd need to install at least 2 or 3 of the shelves just to keep it stable, but otherwise put as many as you want at whatever height you want.

Q:Can you use both the levelers and casters? My floor is very uneven.
by|Apr 6, 2017

Answer This Question
A: Yes, you chose the castor or levelers but the height difference would be significant.
by|Oct 2, 2019
A: I am not sure. I didnt try it. I assume you can bore a hole in the levelers and insert the casters.
by|Dec 18, 2019
A: No, one or the other can be used but not both of them as each type threads into the bottom of each leg.
by|Mar 7, 2019
A: I doubt it unless you have some adjustment to levelers with tile/wood shims to compensate for distance. Wheels were 2-3 in taller.

A: No, the boxes these come in are quite small, but assembly is fairly straightforward. I would suggest building the bottom two shelves first before adding the second stack of vertical support bars.

A: about one inch in diameter and yes hollow.

A: I didnt measure, but they are strong and sturdy. This is not cheap material. I have lot of items stored on it included cans and bottles and there is no bending or shifting of the structure, and it is still mobile with the wheels

A: I haven't measured, but they look like they are about 1 inch thick. Very sturdy.
by|Jul 30, 2019
A: 1" but not completely hollow- supported at ends to allow for mounting so won't bend easily.

A: Yes I took the wheels off

A: Yes. One nice feature about this unit is that the four floor guards, on which the unit would rest, can be unscrewed. Once these floor guards are unscrewed, casters can be screwed in. Depends on your preference. If you want mobility, you'll need the casters, and it does move easily. If you want them to be permanently stationery, then leave the rubber floor guards in place.

Q:Can I use it without casters? If so, are there rubber tips included so it won't scratch the floor?

Answer This Question
A: Yes the tips are pre-mounted and shouldn't mar the floor unless you drag it around. Casters are hard plastic.
by|May 4, 2023
A: Yes, you can use it without the casters and it is supplied with smooth plastic inserts to replace the castors.
