A: Hello, can you please contact us at social.media@milwaukeetool.com for assistance? - Milwaukee Tool Social Team
A: HI Aiden, it is impact driver compatible with universal impact driver 1/4" hex shank compatibility. - Milwaukee Tool Social Team
A: The Makita adapter should fit the Milwaukee impact driver with no problem. Makita makes some great tools but my experiences are the Milwaukee tools are a little better. Since these are adapter, the Makita should performs about the same.
A: I won't. Mine broke in one use. I don't know if I got a defective one or what but it was disappointing.
A: I've never used Makita brand anything. I am happy with my milwakee set that I've used for over a year with no complaints.
A: Hi Mark, the Milwaukee 3-Piece SHOCKWAVE Impact Hex Shank Socket Adapter Set is engineered for extreme durability and up to 30X life. The SHOCKWAVE Impact Duty Socket Adapters are made from proprietary steel and heat treated to control hardness.
A: Awesome US made tool
A: This product is made in China I believe. Very well made to Milwaukee specs. Other Milwaukee products are made in Taiwan and USA and are also excellent. Yes there are a lot of crappy tools that come out of China, but this is not the case with Milwaukee. They are very hands on with their manufacturing and quality control.
A: If they are true Milwaukee, then they should be manufactured in the US. That wasn’t the first thing going thru my mind as I grabbed it off the shelf to save myself a bunch of time. It’s not a truck or other major investment, but I do appreciate your wanting to buy US manufactured goods, wish everyone had the same feelings.
A: Without knowing what torque your lugnuts are at, and not seeing any printed/quoted max torque these bits can handle, your best bet would be to break torque with a breaker bar & remove them with your Ridgid impact with Milwaukee hex attached to socket. Reverse process to reinstall, run lugnuts on with Ridgid & Milwaukee hex bit, torque to spec. Unless you want to just snap your Milwaukee hex bits. I've owned my Milwaukee 3pc set about 3 yrs now, have used the 1/2 inch hex adapter attached to my older Ridgid 18v impact to tear down snow blowers & lawn mowers, not sure if any bolts even exceeded 75 ft lbs of torque, but worked flawlessly. Good luck.
A: No. I would not. These are designed for use on a impact driver for bolts and screws on relatively low torque gun rated in inch lbs. They are not designed for automotive impact drivers that have much higher torque rated in foot pounds. You need tools designed for automotive impact tool use for high torque applications. The first tool I have linked to is the 1/4 in driver similar to what those adapters are made for. The second tool I have linked to is an automotive type driver with 3/8 drive. Look at the torque spec differences in the two tools. https://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGID-18-Volt-Lithium-Ion-Cordless-Brushless-1-4-in-3-Speed-Impact-Driver-with-Belt-Clip-Tool-Only-R86037N/206947575 https://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGID-18-Volt-OCTANE-Cordless-Brushless-3-8-in-6-Mode-Impact-Wrench-Kit-with-2-0-Ah-Battery-and-18-Volt-Charger-R86239SB/310380057
A: I would say no, I don't know how long they would last.
A: Not sure but I use mine with 20v Dewalt impact driver to remove all kinds of wheel bolts but sometimes they need to be loosen manually, but quad wheels lawnmower wheels all on with this setup
A: Yes thats why I bought it. And to use onrv jacks when camping.
A: Yes, as long as you lower the torque setting on the drill. Driving bolts and screws at full power is a good way to strip or break things.
A: Yes, the teeth will grip the flats just fine. But they work better with an impact. A drill driver, being non-impacting, will deliver the force against your arm / wrist when the fastener gets tight.
A: Yes
A: Yes
A: Yes
A: I use mine with 20v Dewalt 1/4 impact driver and 20v drill first set I used last a long time 1/4 is the most used, next 3/8 I use them on so many projects, being a farmer it is nice to have something besides air or manual. Torque I am not sure
A: I used it on my Fuel impact which has about 1800 torque and it held up well, but I can't say it'll last for extended use under high torque stress.
A: Made in China.
A: Made in Taiwan with further processing in China
A: Taiwan
A: I don't have the package anymore and it's not marked on the tools. I will say I've picked many of these adapters along the way and these are the strongest, best made ones yet. I finally threw all the junk ones away and only use these now. I've found Milwaukee attachments such as these to be of better quality than those from the yellow brand name I use for my battery powered tools.
