ball fell out first time using under light use
used one time to put 3 screws in wood and when removing socket the ball popped out.

Horrible product
This is very surprising coming from a big brand name of Milwaukee. Very unexpected, today when removing a drain plug that was overtightened by autoshop I used my impact driver as I could not hand crank it out. Two trigger pulls into this and snap, ar first I thought wow that was easy, to my disappointment the adapter twisted like nothing right where the red mark is. AVOID AT ALL COST.

Not very good
Snapped on my second session using it. I wasn't even doing final torque on the bolt. Driving into a pre-threaded hole when it broke.

1use on lug nut 85 ft lbs
Beware this is junk.
I used this fresh out of the package with Milwaukee impact broke on the 1st lug nut that was torqued to 85 lbs not intended for real world use.

Really great for impact drivers when driving large screws or...
Really great for impact drivers when driving large screws or removing bolts. This is really one of those "clutch" driver accesories to have. It connects your sockets with your driver/impact driver.

Tough!!
I had my doubts when I used the 1/2 inch adapter to loosen four 24MM bolts on my tractor. Job completed on the highest torque setting on my Milwaukee impact and the adapter was not damaged.

Broke after 5 minutes of use
Bought a brand new set of socket adapters this morning, and often 5 minutes of light use, the keeper ball fell out of the 3/8" adapter. Very disappointed.

Broke, just like other reviews
Disappointed in Milwaukee... Usually I love Milwaukee tools, but this 1/2 socket adapter snapped on me while installing lug nuts, before they were even tight.

Not for impact.
First time using the 1/2 adapter with my FUEL M18 1/4" impact and it snapped. Supposed to be meant for use with an impact, but nope! I ended up breaking the nut free by hand with a short breaker bar with minimal effort.

I can't believe this is Milwaukee product
I just bought this adapter and it snap-off on second drive. Took me sometime to get the broken piece out. Own other Milwaukee tool for more than 30 years and never has this terrible experience before. I think Milwaukee can do better than this or just don't sell it.

Horrible
First time using the 3/8” and it broke. Using the Dewalt DCF 887 Impact Driver. Returned it and replaced with the same, thinking I must have gotten a defective one and again it broke after the third bolt. I do NOT recomend it.

LIght duty only
You can probably use these adapters up to about 125 ft-lbs of torque. Go above that and they'll snap right off at the head. If all you're hoping to do is spin nuts after loosening them with a breaker, they'll do that job. Milwaukee's marketing implies that these adapters will do more than that, and for that they get a low rating.
