As long as your original faucet is also a 4 inch center faucet you may go ahead and replace. Please work with your local Home Depot for pricing and availability on this product. A:  Thank you for your inquiry. To remove the handles: hold on to the handle while turning the skirt counter-clockwise by hand or with a strap wrench, taking care to protect all finish surfaces. Remove any remaining components to expose the valve. Set all parts aside for re-use. The valve can now be replaced or other repairs made. Re-assemble handle parts in reverse order. Note: Remove mineral deposits with a 50/50 white vinegar/water solution.
