A:  Hi Kohler41, this is Sarah with Kohler Customer Service. I'm glad to answer your question. Yes, the aerator at the end of the spout can be removed for cleaning. To remove it, you can unscrew it turning it counter clockwise. To get a good grip, we suggest wearing a cleaning glove for added friction. If you are unable to remove it by hand, you can use a strap wrench to unscrew it. It can then be soaked in a bowl of 50% white vinegar and 50% water to remove any sediment build-up.
