A:  Hello Lisa, Yes, the Holden model will be compatible with several Hunter accessory controls. Two of our most popular models are (99123) which is handheld and model (99375) which is wall mounted.       A:  Hello Maria, The glass globe is open on the Holden model. Hunter does make some fans with closed light fixtures. If the fan is to be hung outside, make sure you purchase a Damp or Wet listed fan for outdoor use. Thank you!

                  Q:After installing this fan, it put off a burned rubber smell. Has anyone else had this issue? If so, were you able to resolve it?

                  A:  I installed 7 of these and none of them put out a smell.

                  A:  Hi, The odor from the unit is common for new installs, it is just the excess finish burning off. You will need to run the fan in one direction on high for 24 hours, reverse the direction and run on high for another 24 hours. Have a great day!
