A:  Yes to all of the above. Mine is over a breakfast bar and easily reached but I wanted a light dimmer so I have a remote that recesses into the wall receptacle with all those features.

A:  Yes the fan can be operated separately and has the chain and the three speeds. As for the remote, I was not interested in the remote so I am not totally sure about that. Though it appears that most fans have the capability that comes with the fan or can be added on. The description on the web page should indicate this.

A:  Any of ceiling fan hanging bracket rated for over 50 lbs. could work for you depending upon where your install is going to take place (between floors, no attic access, cathedral ceiling, etc) will dictate which hanging bracket will be the best option for you.

A:  Hi Johari, Thanks for visiting our site! When you have a separate wall control for the light of a ceiling fan, an alternate colored wire is used to identify that circuit. That wire is usually red. The wiring diagram contains a blue wire that is specifically for the light kit of the fan. Connect your red wire to the blue wire according to page ten of the Installation Guide.
