Answer This Question
A: Hello Terry, While our containers are solvent-resistant, we hesitate recommending them for long-term storage. We do not test for this type of condition. Reading online, most sites recommend using glass jars, or storing the original can upside down. When dealing with chemicals, like polyurethane, it is best to follow the recommendation of the company that makes the product.

Q:can i use this to make food?
by|Apr 6, 2023

Answer This Question
A: Hello Alex, We do not consider our 1 quart containers to be food safe. Your best bet is to use a container made for that purpose, but it is up to you whether you use it or not. We don't make any small, food-safe containers.

Q:Where do i find the proper lid for this?

Answer This Question
A: Hello Jodi, Home Depot does purchase the 1-quart lids. If you search on item# 202264025 online, you should be able to find a store near you who has them in stock. Unfortunately, it isn't something they ship to home. If the stores around you are out of stock, speak to the department manager, they should be able to order them from their warehouse.

A: Hello Arturo, without knowing your ZIP code, I cannot tell which stores in your area have these in stock. On the page where you asked the question, under "store pickup" there should be a "check nearby stores" you can click on and enter your ZIP code. If your local store does not have any, check with the store manager and ask them to place an order. The local warehouse should be receiving stock weekly.
