Q:.710 flow rate per hour, total dripper gallon delivery? I have 52 gallons/hour pressure compensating drippers on one delivery zone, but not developing pressure. Do I too many? Hose length 260? 42 drippers of 1 or 2 gph. Thanks

    Answer This Question

A:  Maximum recommended flow rate per each length of .710 OD tubing is not to exceed 228 GPH. Be sure to install the Pressure compensating drippers with the barbed side of the dripper installed into the tubing, the rounded tube is the outlet. if the pressure compensating dripper is installed backwards it will not emit water.

        Answer This Question

A:  Most of the tubing we manufacture has the dimensions printed on the side of our tubing. If you are unsure of the size, I would recommend using our nut lock universal fittings to avoid any leaking. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact our technical service/product support team at 1-800-322-9146 or tech@digcorp.com.

Q:If I order multiple of these, will they come as separate pieces or in one continuous length (i.e. if I ordered 3 of the 2 foot lengths, is that what I would get, or would I receive one 6 foot piece)?

            Answer This Question

A:  The B30-2 is a 2-foot length of .700 OD poly tubing, if you where to order 3 of the B30-2 you would receive three 2 foot lengths of tubing. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact our technical service/product support team at 1-800-322-9146.

Q:My water pressure is 40 psi with the parameter of 200 ft. I want to use 2gph emitters. What is the maximum number of emitters? The water flow rate is 348 gph. Thank in advance.

              Answer This Question

A:  With the numbers provided, the maximum number of emitters would be 174: 174 Emitters @2gph = 348gph water flow. You can always use less emitters though.

              by|Jul 13, 2022

A:  We recommend using a 25 PSI pressure regulator to ensure proper operation of you low volume irrigation system. At 25 PSI you can run a max of 400 feet of the ½” poly tubing, and supply around 220 gph. If you’re using only 2 gph emitters, you can use 110 of them. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact our technical service/ product support team at 1-800-322-9146.

                  Answer This Question

A:  The burst limit for our poly drip tubing is 60 PSI at 90 degrees F. Our tubing can be buried under mulch or woodchips or a few inches under soil, but we do not recommend our tubing be buried under more than a foot or so of soil. If you have any other questions, please give our technical service/product support team a call at 1-800-322-9146.
