Q:Can I leave the drip system out in winter? I live in NJ.
I do plan to drain the water and disconnect from the water source.
Question is do I need to remove the entire system for winter and reinstall or can I leave it out without damaging the pipe and the drippers.

A: Yes the drip system can be left installed for the winter months but you would have to winterize your drip system. Q:What is the max distance of a drip? I have a model G77AS. I think it has 50 ft 1/2 tube. I connected two sprinkler and total 9 gph dripper. Can I extend the distance to 150 ft and add three more 1 gph dripper?

Answer This Question
A: Yes, you can theoretically go to infinity. The limiting factor will be the number of taps off of the line.

A: The maximum single run length for ½” poly tubing is 400 feet. The maximum flow rate for ½” poly tubing is 220 gallons per hour. So yes, you can extend the line to 150 feet and add more drippers, but the G77 kit has .700” OD poly tubing, not .710” as selected in the link. Do not use the .710” to extend your line. Use the .700” OD tubing, here is a link to see more info and order online:

A: 1/100th of an inch larger OD. Have to use "blue line" couplings.

A: The only difference is the inside and outside diameter dimensions of the tubing. The B37 is .600” ID X .700” OD (DIG) The TS500 is .620” X .710” (others). For any additional questions, please feel free to contact our technical support team at (800) 322-9146.

A: THD has two sizes of drip tubing from DIG, the 0.700 OD and the 0.710 OD. The description for both sizes are very similar with the .710 OD has higher flow capability then the .700 OD. Both sizes can be used with the .700 drip fittings with black inserts and the .710 drip fittings with blue inserts.
