Q:How long will this tubing last when left exposed to full sun year round? Can you post a link to all the specifications including UV resilience?

Answer This Question

A:  Our tubing is designed to last many years in direct sunlight. Life expectancy of the tubing can vary depending on weather, water quality, UV exposure, etc. and typically lasts ten years or more with standard maintenance. Q:.710 flow rate per hour, total dripper gallon delivery? I have 52 gallons/hour pressure compensating drippers on one delivery zone, but not developing pressure. Do I too many? Hose length 260? 42 drippers of 1 or 2 gph. Thanks

    Answer This Question

A:  Maximum recommended flow rate per each length of .710 OD tubing is not to exceed 228 GPH. Be sure to install the Pressure compensating drippers with the barbed side of the dripper installed into the tubing, the rounded tube is the outlet. if the pressure compensating dripper is installed backwards it will not emit water.

Q:Why are there two sizes of 1/2" tubing? Without understanding there were 2 options, I ordered a mix of 0.700 OD and 0.710 OD. What is the reason for using one over the other?

Q:Are there markings on the product to differentiate the .700 and .710 diameters? I have existing product and am not sure how to tell what size it is.

        Answer This Question

A:  Most of the tubing we manufacture has the dimensions printed on the side of our tubing. If you are unsure of the size, I would recommend using our nut lock universal fittings to avoid any leaking. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact our technical service/product support team at 1-800-322-9146 or tech@digcorp.com.
