Questions and Answers for American Standard Cadet 3-Powerwash High-Efficiency 2-Piece 1.28 GPF Single Flush Elongated Toilet in White, Seat Not Included
A: I bought mine a long time ago, but it was a 12" rough-in. I was specifically looking for a 12" elongated because a 14" would have crashed into the back wall. It works really well too, I would buy it again.

A: A 10" bowl could be used on a 12" rough in but you would have an additional 2" gap behind the toilet tank lid. You could however not but a 12" rough in toilet in a 10" space. Your American Standard Consumer Connection Team.

A: Both. The tank uses gravity to feed water into the bowl to flush the toilet. Siphon jet action from the rushing water flushes solids and liquids through the closet ring (the point where the toilet is attached to the drainage piping in the floor).
This is an awesome toilet, it flushes solids very well. I have two of the water saver version and have a third on order. I was worried the water saver version would not perform well, but this was a needless worry. This is WAY better than the older toilets we replaced that use 25% more water vs. this one at 1.28 gallons per flush.

Q:How far is it from the center of the flush hole to the back of the tank? (wall clearance) I don't want it to tight or so far away the tank can be pushed backwards. Also does it come with a flush kit and handle and wax ring?

A: Mark,
It would be approximately 9" to the back of the tank. It is 8..5" from the drain to the back of the bowl traps.

A: Hi Mark, you dont say how far off the wall you rough-in dimensions are so this info is for this toilet that has a 10 inch rough-in. So all the info you want is at:
https://images.homedepot-static.com/catalog/pdfImages/a7/a7b61deb-8180-49eb-b44a-c272825024fd.pdf
So if you have 10 rough-in all is correct and if you have a 12 inch add the 2 inches to that but if your rough in is 12" best to get a toilet with a 12" rough-in

A: Mel, Thanks for the question on the American Standard Cadet 3 Powerwash rim toilet. This not is not insulated and unfortunately we do not offer a toilet with a 10" rough in that is also insulated. We only offer this in a 12" rough in. Your American Standard Consumer Connection Team.

A: Hi Mel Mine has never sweated but have never had one that was insulated looked to see if I could find one and nothing, you might try warmer water for tank or an in-wall system like KOHLER In-Wall Tank and Carrier System Model# K-6284-NA. Maybe someone else has had one that is insulated. Sweating is just from very cold water in a warm room, would check with a local plumber maybe they can help
