The store which is located in Yuba City is very convenient place to shop. It has quick access to the garden shop and an easy parking if you buy big item merchandise such as lumber or pipes, etc. when you drive a big truck or tow a trailer. The employees are very knowledgeable for the location of the items that you need. Most of the time though, I already know where they can be found as the aisles as properly tagged. Above all, the employees are friendly and willing to help you when you need it.

Shelby is amazing! If I have a question about another department she knows where I should look or she will point me in the right direction. She’s very helpful and friendly every time I go in. She’s also quick to point out what’s on sale in the garden area and what products I should use in the garden.

Corporation has definitely increased their game in customer service (friendliness, number of employees at the store ready to help customers, etc.), store cleanliness, the variety of items the store carries and in the amount if inventory carried. During this pandemic, HD has been, so far, the only home improvement store I have visited to have free face masks, hand sanitizer and gloves upon entry at the store. Plus, employee greeting customers upon entry, assures all carts available inside the store are sanitized. I would say there is always room for improvement and in this review I suggest employees need to know where most, if not all, items are in the store to better guide shoppers to the area of the desired item.

I came into Home Depot today to purchase plants for my yard. There was a multitude of plants on the 50% off table. I took 8 of them and purchased two large marigold plants. When I went to check out the employee with the fake Louis Vuitton mask on couldn’t figure out how to scan them. I told him they were half off in the back. All or the pots had the orange dot making them 50% off. He tried asking for help but was getting flustered. He then started making comments towards myself and my husband like it was our fault because we were buying the discounted plants he couldn’t figure out how to ring up. When we left I double checked with him to see if we were getting the right price on them and he just brushed me off and handed me the receipt. When we were leaving I checked the receipt to see that the prices WERE NOT marked 50% off. Only some of them were. This is a little irritating because the 50% off plants are not fresh and new they are older which is why they are marked on sale. It’s also irritating that this employee was not able to do his job because he obviously did not know how this department works. Regardless I will be back BUT I should receive a credit for the extra money I paid for plants that were 50% off.

Garden Center is very good although understaffed. The store inside is cluttered. My main complaint is since I live 25 miles from the store I need to be assured the product I want is there before traveling to the store. I use the phone. Also the internet information should be updated on a regular basis.. Your prices are fair and we all need that especially those of us on fixed income. Megan was most helpful and she didn't even work in lumber. Other employees seemed to be hiding. Store could be more organized, not appearing so cluttered. Cutting saw for the 2in blinds were down. Couldn't get my blinds today ;( Hope they get it fixed soon.

This is one of the best Home Depot Stores that I have shopped in. The Employees are Helpful and Friendly and that makes for a Great Experience. I have been helped by the Assistant Manager Allen and he was very Knowledgeable and Friendly. I will definitely shop here again.
