Two customer service poor practices. Last week I purchased two Philips LED smart light bulbs that were on clearance. I called ahead today to see if any were still in stock. I was transferred to the electrical department no answer. Call was rerouted back to customer service. I gave Chyenne the receipt number and item name PLCA19COLOR2. I explained to her it was a Phillips 2 pack, LED smart light bulb. She could only find a 1 pack for $60.00. At that point I asked for her name and told her I would come in and look for the item. I went to the store found the items and also found an employee working in the Electrical Department. After a short conversation noticing his name was Matt, he told me he was working the Electrical Dept. today from 12:00pm to 9:00pm. Chyenne was not able to help me. Appeared not to have electrical experience. Matt was working in Elect. Dept. why did he not answer his phone when I called. Associates were not helpful. I found the products easily. Not able to get assistance over the phone.

A few days before Christmas, our water heater stopped working. It was a Rheem unit with a 12 year warranty. Rheem was going to overnight a replacement gas valve but it was out of stock. They offered to replace the complete water heater that I bought from Home Depot in 2015. So I went to the Depot and purchased a replacement water heater, planning on returning the defective unit after the new one was installed. I got the new unit in my house, ready for the installer who was coming the next morning. When he arrived, he opened the box and discovered extensive damage to the "new" unit. I immediately called Home Depot and asked if they could deliver another one to my house. Unfortunately, they could not so the installer said he would go with me to pick it up a replacement. We would also bring the old defective unit so they could sort out the warranty claim. Unfortunately, Rheem was not answering the phone so Alysha said she would issue me a store credit for the defective unit and also discount the new replacement unit which would help pay for the installers additional time. Alysha, Lori, and Marlein were very helpful in sorting out this mess and my new water heater is working as it should!

I find the personnel at the store helpful, accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable. And I find various home products that I need for my home. These are always very good quality and long lasting.

Super clean store, Super great employees!!! You will love this store!!!

THIS IS MY FAVORITE HOME DEPOT! THE PEOPLE AT THIS LOCATION ARE VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. I AM ALWAYS ABLE TO FIND WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR AND THE ASSOCIATES ARE ALWAYS READY TO HELP. TINA IN APPLIANCES IS GREAT, JOHN BY THE GRILL SECTION IS EXCEPTIONAL! MR PANICO, THE MANAGER, IS SUPER NICE. GREAT PLACE!

Do not order from the Door department, I waited for my order for a long time and not even one explained to me what is going on with my order. I called several times and was just passed to Terri that was supposed to be in charge of my order. I do not think this is a real person because I never got a call back. Not a good store to shop. Poor service and do not trust the employees.

Great store with very knowledgeable personnel. Frank in the Grout Department and Bill in Lighting are both super guys that know their stuff and share with you step by step how to do a project. Can't say enough good things about these guys!

Everyone at this store has excellent customer service across the board. If The Home Depot sells it, this is where I buy it!

We had no idea what we were doing getting ready to paint for the first time and Tina and Ashley made sure we had everything we would need

I placed a large drywall order with the Pro Desk here and another store didn't fulfill their part of the order properly, costing me additional labor and scheduling issues, but Harreson in delivery really took charge and worked out all the issues so we were able to continue the project with minimal disruption and cost.

I had a return of an upholstered bench I had purchased through Home Depot on-line. The bench was great but the wrong color for my room. I was a little worried about returning an on-line purchase but the clerk who assisted me was reassuring and very pleasant.

We always have projects we are doing at home and have spent a lot in Home depot. Me and my husband went to Darien,IL store location to ask if they can cut a certain long board we will pre measure and prepare since we don't have the equipment to do so.We went a day before and asked if we can bring it, the older gentleman said okay but to bring it early morning weekend because it wasn't busy and ask for anyone in lumber.We went the next day which as Sun and we talked to a certain Anthony from the lumber department stating He was the boss of that department and refused us,stating that the cutting saw wasn't made for cutting the type of wood we brought and that it was too complicated.He also kept stating " Im not doing your project for you" . We were okay with it but the way he handled the situation seemed more of " I don't want to do it vs I not able to do it" .So I went to the Woodridge location to try. Chip, who works in the lumber department have provided great customer service and provided the service with no issues. He was able to cut my board/wood perfectly with the same saw Home depot have for cutting in the Darien Location. No hesitations and knows what he was doing.

Excellent service in appliances by Tina and doors dept by Wallace. Good customer service with knowledgeable employees. Quick check out. Door greeter even went out to get me a cart where none were readily available. Now that is great customer service.

Considering that this store has been a known source of COVID-19 spread, I was appalled that several employees were wearing masks so that they only covered their chin and many more had them not covering their nose.

This location has gone downhill. I've been shopping here since it was built. However my last 2 visits were very unsatisfactory. One was due to the rudeness of the cashier, and the other was due to the complete lack of assistance as I struggled to load 10 bags of mulch onto my cart. Currently their policy due to COVID is to not help customers with this, as they have in the past, since it isn't considered essential. I can go along with that. However what I had to do to get TO the mulch I needed, which was behind another pallet with heavy items on it, and a very narrow pathway in which to maneuver a large cart, was extremely difficult. Not a single employee was around. If they aren't going to assist, they need to empower shoppers with the means to DIY.

Kat at the customer service counter was awesome. She was patient, thorough, and very knowledgeable. Thank You Kat.

Store was organized and clean. despite the screening for entry the line moved very quickly and I was in and out less than a half hour. Employees are always helpful. I actually went to the Darien store (Terrible parking) and saw the long line to enter and it wasn't moving very fast so I drove to the Woodridge store expecting the same but was pleasantly surprised. Even though they also had a long line waiting to get in it was moving fairly quickly so I parked my car (much more spacious parking than Darien) got in line and was in and out less than 30 min even with the Covid-19 precautions.

George in the paint department is a rock star. He helped me when a quart of paint that I just purchased, needed to be made darker. THank you!!

At a time when the pandemic was raging and the "social distancing" lines long, your employees made my shopping far more pleasant than it normally might have been. Especially one of your garden center employees by the name of Robin who went above and beyond the call of duty in assisting me.

I like this Home Depot store the best. It seems less crowded and has the friendliest employees that help over and beyond expected. They seem to be close at hand so I don't have to look all over the store to get help.

The Woodridge store is clean, neat, and merchandise is well presented. Two employees need special mention for their professionalism; the associate who cut, wrapped, and suggested the product to apply the carpet we just purchased. The check out associate by the name of Debbie T. went out of her way to special order the patio furniture we wanted; selected a date of delivery which we desired, and made our check out experience extremely pleasant.

Pam at the pro desk is fantastic. She helped me with a special order that was difficult and did it all with a smile. I appreciate Pam!

Tina Young, the appliance specialist, that helped me with my refrigerator purchase was very helpful. I came in because my old fridge stop working yesterday and I needed to replace it quickly. Tina helped me compare several models I was considering from searching on line and decide on the one I purchased. She also answered all my questions and gave me all the information I needed regarding this purchase and the delivery of the new refrigerator

I am very happy to be part of this home depot.
