Management does look at these reviews, thank you for putting some paper towels in the restroom, it's nice to be able to wash your hands with soap and hot water and dry them off with a paper towel.

It is hit and miss with the employees. Some are awesome, especially the younger ones, and some behave like they are doing you a favor to serve you.

The Store Manager has rough people skills, adversely effecting customer service through happy employees.

For the numerous times which I have visited this location, the product selection is excellent. However, the customer service is by far the worst I have ever seen. The associates (most), I have found to be rude and unprofessional. One often finds no one on the floor to assist, but if you travel near the dock area in the rear or the back rows, associates are often gathered talking and joking. I personally witness a customer asking for assistance, the associate in a group turned and said I'll be with you in a minute. Approximately 5 minutes later, after waiting, the customer simply turned and walked away. The group then started laughing. I approached to have some lumber cut, and was told sorry I can't assist now, I don't have the code. Yet, the one associate, simply turned and started back talking with the group. With the items I had, once at the register it appeared I was aggravating the cashier when I asked for assistance. She pointed and said, "We do have self-check-out". Simply rude and unprofessional is what I have found on most visits. But we visit this facility due to its close proximately to our shop. But, horrible customer service has been both my team and my experience at this location.

We were looking for lumber. Our experience started out great, but went downhill drastically at the check out. Lumber manager told us that they get lumber in every other day and that we should have our special order in by Tuesday, Jan. 28th. At the check out we learned that it would be almost TWO WEEKS. The cashier was new and made numerous errors. It took us over an hour to check out with our order. We still have to wait TWO WEEKS to get our order that the lumber manager said would only be days. We have a special order and a personally picked items that are all supposed to be delivered at the same time. We are not too hopeful of them getting this correct. Hopefully, we will be proven wrong when the order shows up.

Website shows hundreds of an item in stock, yet employee said they have none. Lumber placed in wrong spots so price tags are misleading. You think an item is one price, but when checking out are rang up something different. Generally dirty, many bare shelves/spaces, disorganized. Lots of the lumber is warped and chipped. I was charged for more items than I actually have. Too bad for me, as I live out of town and just went over my receipt too late.

Consistently poor supervision. Employees are never to be found. When they are found they're huddled in a group talking about weekend plans. Every single online order is never pulled. The one time it was pulled it was half complete and even then the merchandise was wrong. Where is the manager hiding?

It is your run of the mill Home Depot but the staff is what makes it special. Mary, one of the cashiers, is by far the best cashier that I have ever had the pleasure to deal with. She was kind, funny and extremely helpful. Edgar in the hardware department is also extremely helpful. You really can’t go wrong with the HD in Windsor with staff like this!

Overpriced on many items in store. Check the price online at homedepot.com and get the store to match price.
