great experience with customer service when required to return a door that was ordered in the wrong size. Don't find that kind of customer service in many stores anymore. Nice to see Home Depot believes in making any experience, whether purchasing or returning merchandise, a good one.

What a great experience! Theo in windows/doors was so helpful and great to work with when I had a problem finding a storm door that would the unusual size of door needed to complete the renovations on my 1947 home. Will definitely be back while finishing other projects on this house, since I now know Theo will help me find a solution to whatever "quirks" might come up.

Yesterday I went to my store. The nice lady at the service desk called me by name. Scotty helped me apply for a replacement window because one of my American standard windows got hit with gravel. Mr Doug helped me fix the chain on the home life electric chain saw. This was all done to the tune of shipping and handling for the replacement window. We have a great store.

I always find what I need if not the employees will assist.

At this time (during the COVID-19 outbreak), I would not recommend this store. Too many people are now being allowed to shop which is making it difficult to adhere to social-distancing. Due to the increased number of people being allowed to shop, they really should be wearing masks since people are coming withing 6 feet of one another in several instances.

The store & the staff are handling this time of crisis remarkably well! However there are far too many shoppers being allowed in the store at one time!! Should be cut by at least half if not more! The situation is not safe for other shoppers, much less the staff that are stuck there dealing with the overflow! They should also stop allowing checkout at the returns desk!! There's a sign informing people it's for returns & special pickup! They should be directing & sending customers to checkout where they belong!! Despite the chaos from an overwhelming number of shoppers, the staff remains helpful & friendly. They even manage to keep the store surprisingly clean & uncluttered!! Regional management & company headquarters should help them out!!

Since I did not physically visit the store, I have to rely on my phone experience. If a person shops ion the store and has all of the necessary credentials to purchase, they should be treated as any other customer and upon completion by the cashier: run the information through the system and be governed by the credit department for approvals and denials of transactions. Not just take it on themselves to approve or deny credit and tell customer you cannot buy this before I call the owner of the card especially when the credit department has on file the name of the person and city and state that a transaction will be done. Believed this was done in advance to prevent these long waits in getting service.

I do not know what we did before The Home Depot came to Thomaston. I do know that we had to go to Griffin or Macon to buy alot of things. Sometimes we just went ahead and brought whatever the local business had no matter what the cost just to save time. But now I can not see Thomaston without your store. Its just wonderful. Sometimes, when I am not going to buy anything, I like to just come and walk around to see all the stuff I will buy one day, especially the garden center.

The store was clean and the aisles were spacious. Josh in lumber was most helpful. Very friendly and professional.

The manager from lawn and garden, Chris, and customer service staff Tamera and Lerski were very helpful in an issue that had greatly upset me. I would return to this store based on their responsiveness.

Liz, in the paint department, was very helpful, offering suggestions and recommendations. She, along with many other employees were friendly and funny which made my task of spending money on a home improvement a bit better.

We had a most pleasant experience in the Garden Department today. The cashier and staff were extremely helpful in picking out some of the plants on sale, looked up prices where those weren't marked, and in general were very friendly.

You guys rock. We had an insulation project in a guest house that needed to get done and had the wrong size insulation delivered. The young lady who was supervising that day did an amazing job getting me everything that i needed to get the job done. She made sure that ill be returning again soon for my Home Improvement needs. The store always has what I need and the associates have always been helpful with finding what I needed and helping me get material loaded. Store is always clean and easy to get around.

The Thomaston store is friendlier than any other store in my immediate area. The employees want to help you find what you need and usually offer to help you with your purchase if you need assistance loading. The cashiers especially Kelli are extremely friendly and helpful.
