HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer service. DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES from this store. From their Sales Associates to their Store Managers, they do not care about customer satisfaction or doing what's right, they only care about getting the sale and hitting their bottom line. You will never be taken care of if something goes wrong as Juan clearly communicated to me that he can't take care of every customer who is unhappy with something. Mind you, all of this over a $300 washing machine pedestal in great shape that they hauled away and threw away that I had asked to keep which they said they couldn't even though a pedestal is a separate component from the washing machine and it would have taken minutes to take off and leave. It's sad that we allow people like this to manage and run what I thought was a good Company in Home Depot. You have lost my business forever.

SOUTH ELGIN IS JUST THE BEST HOME DEPOT IT THE AREA

See the comments that were submitted in survey. There were not trained associates in bath that could help. I purchased the wrong tube. There was limited staffing on the floor in all departments. I ended up spending a lot of money, only to have to return the items that I purchased in bath. There was no one in bath that was knowledgeable. For the other departments, you had to hunt someone down to help. The only department that had a knowledgeable and available person was tile. Shawn (female associate) was helpful and knowledgeable. She knew the right questions to ask so that I purchased the right items for my project.

Associates at this store are always very helpful. If they are not sure, they will get someone else to help you. I have always enjoyed going to this store mainly because you can always find someone to help you. I hate it when you have to walk all over the store to find someone and when you do, sometime they don't know enough to help you. Home Depot is not like that.

The Cashier Hannah is very pretty, the store is very organized and clean and employees are very helpful

We just moved to this area and this will be the only Home Depot I go to....polite, knowledgeable staff, helpful...and pleasant.

Omg. we thought it was gonna be a long night after we worked all day!! But after 3 other home depots we ended up at South Elgin, which by the way was our first pick, but we didnt work close too. we were working our way there. Our clothes dryer broke and when I got there Cheryl was amazing!!!! but then all of a sudden Rich came in and he was amazing!!!! These 2 people helped me and I called my husband and told him to just head over bc they had help me find a dryer and by the time we were done we even got a new washer Best experience ever!!!! Cheryl and Rich are some of the sweetest people!!!

Everyone in this store is very helpful and friendly.

A very clean store, the only downfall is trying to find an employee on the floor here; I’ve shopped here hundreds of times and it’s always the same situation during the week. I would prefer to see cashiers vs self checkouts; I really feel this lack of human engagement will lead to Home Depot’s demise, there has to be a better way to save costs internally.

Clerks did not know where there garden flags were located. Waited so long to have someone load the mulch. So I had to do it myself. The last bag someone came out and helped.

This is probably the BEST home depot I have ever been to!! Its always clean and has someone there to help you at every turn! Wouldn't go anywhere else

We were shopping for new appliances and Maria in the appliance department was extremely helpful. Our appliances were delivered and set up exactly as planned. We felt so confident about Maria’s expertise and the great service we received with our appliances that we returned to purchase new countertops and new hardwood floors.

Best customer service, and very attentive

This is my favorite Home Depot to go to! I am greeted the second I walk in the door, and asked if I need assistance. I never have to hunt an employee down like you have to do at most other stores. Everytime is always an all around great experience, and I will be a forever customer.

We are in the process of building a home and we have been to this store a number of times to price big ticket items. We have talked to a number of sales people and have been watching for the right sales. Last night we purchased our blinds after several weeks of pricing, debating, changing our minds, and shopping other stores. We went back to Home Depot because Joanne had worked with us multiple times and was always patient and helpful. They matched the sale we had found at another store.
