Useless employees to a poor job directing customers to the checkouts.

yesterday i need help to get bags of dirt..i waited for 15 minutes and no help, had to go .today i requested help to lift 40 lb bags.. waited15 minutes no help.. i am 69 years old bad shoulder and bad right arm and had to lift 6 bags . i needed more bags, but pain stopped me. paid and left.

These guys were quick and sufficient with acknowledging me the minute I walked into the store in need of help. I say this because usually most places will just point you in the direction. These guys, or at least the one I was with actually assisted me the whole way through, and even as I wasn’t sure as to what I was looking for, they immediately knew what it was I was talking about based on the items description alone. Awesome job, and Thank you!

Michael Ford gave me exceptional customer service... He approached us after I left from getting a automatic cart because I’m disabled... he asked if my daughter and I needed help ... I swallowed my girl pride and that was the best thing I could’ve done... I would’ve never found the shelving brackets... they were all the way on aisle 36 in the back corner of the store... I told him what I was looking for and he welcomed us to follow him... halfway there my cart began to fail because it hadn’t been on the charger long, so he asked a co worker to go grab me a better one so he could stay with me... at this point he could’ve sold me a toilet even though I was just in there for shelf brackets... I just appreciated his concern for me as a Home Depot customer... so we moved on to aisle 36 and after I chose the 6 brackets that I wanted, he asked if I needed some nails... initially I was going to piece this project together by coming in on different days to complete the shopping needed for my daughter’s bedroom shelves... normally I can’t get help like this so I end up breaking up my shopping trips in order to preserve the energy I have... my reply was yes, so he walked over to the nail aisle on 10 to help us out over there... long story short, I ended up getting a piece of wood from the lumber department cut into three pieces, some lug nuts ( I think) and shelving brackets... it’s funny because I was just sharing with my daughter how my parents built their home in California and they used to hangout at Home Depot like it was Starbucks... I hated that and always wished I would’ve stayed home... my 13 year old daughter enjoyed her visit and we will be thinking of a project so we can get back in there soon... thank you for letting Michael Ford be part of your team... he’s very knowledgeable and if he didn’t know something he took the time to ask the associate in the particular department we were in... oh , I can’t forget about the fact that he was able to keep my 7 year old son’s attention... this was the deciding factor of my point of returning... thanks again Home Depot and thank you Michael Ford... you desere all things good coming your way... As I made my way around the store I was asked several times did I need help. But I knew exactly what I wanted and the location of the items. My cashier Jean was very helpful and quick. Need more like him. Store #6804

Will NEVER shop here again. Stock is a joke and employees are condescending and rude. I had to dig through my purse to get a pen so I could use the credit card machine that is just STUPIDITY at its finest not to mention had to wait in a long line with people buying carts full of stuff to use self checkout to buy ONE item. Will drive a little further and pay more so I don't have to deal with Home Depot.

Love my experience at Home Depot! Went two times in 2 days and Janelle helped us newly weds 2 times/days in a row like a pro. She was calm caring and amazing. She got it done! I think that was really an amazing customer service experience. We were able to see amazing Team at this store. Thank you so much For being an amazing Team!

Busy but friendly store. Plenty of contractors and tradesmen in the store, but they still have time for a DIYer. Help to find products, share how-to information, quick online pickup & even bring to the car!!

This store like so many others is doing the whole "self service checkout" option. However, at this store, it is not Optional. I find this VERY unacceptable. I should not be required to do the work of bagger and cashier just to make a purchase. Added to this, they have the employees there to man the registers, but they don't. They just stand around talking and telling customers to DIY. Not a good business plan in my opinion. I will take my business to their competitor where the staff actually wait on the customers.

I've been very satisfied with the service and the employees at this store for years. However, there are times when employees go above and beyond to assist customers and that reflects on the company in a very positive way. I depend on their expertise when I'm in need of assistance regarding product use or alternative recommendations. My recent experience with Henry (in the contractor's area) was exceptional, and is a prime example as why your representative inspired me to take this survey. Thank you.

I have had outstanding customer service from staff on the floor and cashiers. The training for these people must be extensive. They have never steered me wrong.

The store was very neat and clean inside and outside. Jarvey and Fathia were very helpful from start to finish. They made sure our visit was quick and gave us all the assistance we needed with our purchase.

Lots of friendly, courteous, knowledgeable employees. Very well run store with a great selection of all kinds of products.

Great store, good service

This store is always busy and I hate shopping there. I had the best experience today, with a young man. He was a fairly new employee - Chris - and his customer service skills were top notch and not what I expect to receive at HD. Good job Chris. HD needs more bright and positive employees just like you

This was actually MUCH better specifically because of a kind worker named Doriee -- she allowed us to circumvent the line given we had actually already paid for our part but had forgotten it in the basket. I applaud her for three reasons: 1- she recognized a LONNNNG line building & stepped up to address it (subsequently noticing us & allowing me to explain), 2- she allowed a customer to do what made sense for everyone, using the honesty policy, 3- she was engaging & kind under pressure!

I've shopped this location for over 40 years, The store, and the Garden Center, are always well stocked, the employees are always helpful, and the prices are competitive. Great store location.

I was primarily in the garden department, and the employees in that department were wonderful! My questions were answered, and they helped me find exactly what I was looking for. I am extremely satisfied with the experience and how helpful and friendly they are! The plants and flowers at this location were absolutely beautiful.......so healthy and well taken care of. One can tell that the employees take pride in their products.

There was plenty of staff available to point me in the right direction, no wild goose chases. They were all polite and knowledgeable.

Francisco in the Appliances department lives the core values of Home Depot and he is extraordinary helpful.

I often shop at this store since it is closest to my home. But I also shop at several other Home Depots in the metroplex depending on where I am on a particular day. I will say that all Home Depots are equally well managed. It very wise to just visit the most convenient one for your location on any day.

Store was very clean. I would recommend this location to ALL my friends and family.

The cashier named Jocelyn is terrible. She has a really bad attitude and should not be dealing with the public.
