The reason I won’t recommend this store in Shirley ny,because always at the garden department no one is available when I need help and the handicap carts hardly ever are fully charged,this store needs improvement in a few places. I live in this community,but I’d rather shop at the patchogue Home Depot ,over there they are always helpful and professional

Had a great experience with this store when I re-did my kitchen. I thought it would be such an overwhelming experience but the staff and installers made everything so easy. I didn't have to worry about a thing!

The blonde Cashier Brittany every time I come there always has a smile on her face and always trys her best to help me. Sweet young lady. Hope she never leaves! Also the short young man tony from flooring is great always helps me.

I've used this store over the past few years, but favored other stores until recently I've seen tremendous improvements in the the condition the store is kept in and the cleanliness and neatness, Hats off to the employees their for making me want to come back and use this store as my go to store again

I recently made a purchase at the Shirley Home Depot and did some research before arriving at the store.I wanted and chose a 28"" wide snowblower model and brand that had all the features I desired.After speaking with some associates viewing the snowblowers up close and answering my questions I proceeded to the service counter to make the purchase and set up a delivery date.I also had a 10% voucher to apply. Later that day, I realized that the width of my driveway with cars parked side by side seemed like it could be a problem.The one thing I over looked proved to be a problem.The machine looked innocent up close, but the Specifications online showed 30" total width and my tape measure told me I made a mistake thinking I could squeeze by them when removing snow..Looking online, I saw there was a 24"wide model with the same brand, same features, engine etc. I went back the next day and with my receipt spoke to Muffin at the service counter.I explained to her my situation and she dove into it and pleasantly solved the predicament I got myself into.Not only did she void the original sale,which I think most competitors would only do, she saved me a trip to the other store location that had the 24"wide model I wanted.She spoke to Sherry on the other line, asked her to verify the computer was correct showing they had some in stock,which they did, tag it as Sold and let me keep the 10% off discount with my voucher given from the first purchase to apply towards the 24" wide unit and set up the same delivery date from the original sale.Talk about a great customer experience! I have been a customer for many years, and the new snowblower purchase is ironically replacing my old one I purchased from your store back in 2005. It actually still works- but this will be an upgrade. Thank you again Muffin and the Home Depot of Shirley store- you were all awesome and deserve recognition in your above and beyond customer satisfaction.
