Everything you could ask for and more employees all helpful love shopping there

Store was actually clean and I found everything I was looking for and the staff were friendly and helpful as soon I walk in I ask a staff for shelves , he walk me to ,where they were (not direct me ) took me there that’s a PLUS in my eyes. I asked him how is it to work here ? I said I bet you do not get bored ,he quickly said ohhhhhh noooo. I love my job and I said I can tell. And Gwen the cashier she seal my deal with her kind self.

Overall very satisfied with customer service,friendliness from employees and helpful.

They need better organization, and they need more employees to boost Moral. They also need to educate their employees on how to help the customers. After all with the customers is what keeps the store in business.

The Home Depot off Rt. 1 in Saugus is well run, is usually well stocked with the items you are in need of, and the service is friendly and helpful.

The best part of shopping at HD is the help and assistance by the store employees. I am a widow of over 20 years and finally realized the home needed a little work. I visit HD on a regular basis recently and ask a lot of questions to the staff and always get good advice - for a single lady- that's priceless.

The Saugus store is my favorite Home Depot. I take the extra time to go to this store. Clean, well stocked and the displays are great. As each holiday arrives the store changes. This shows that the store care about it's customers and the over all appearance. The managers provide a good shopping journey. Thank you John Fiore

SOME staff are helpful, but they are hard to find in the store. And cashiers are not paying attention to what they're doing - mine failed to honor the veterans' discount after I showed him identification.

Nice place, I go there all the time. Anytime I need help locating items, store employees are always willing and able to help.

HD is great-the store, people everything! But... I would recommend you place security (undercover or otherwise) at all entrances, because I have witnessed people walking out of the store with merchandise without paying. Specifically, one day (a while ago) I arrived early (7 ish) one morning and noticed an individual walk out (by the return exit/entrence) with a two generators in his carriage looking suspicious. Not many people buy two generators at one time, so I thought it was a bit odd. He realized I was watching him, so he rushed outside as his accomplice was waiting, parked next to the store in the fire zone (near the garden center). he threw one of the generators in the car but left one on the sidewalk and sped away. As all this was going on, I alerted an employee at the return desk, but she didn't seem to know what to do and didn't move from her desk, I then told the store manager, and she contacted the security company that is supposed to monitor activity around the store (to little to late in my opinion) . I understand employees can't confront thieves and put themselves in danger, so there needs to be security at all entrances. I'm sure thieves know this flaw in security and will continue taking things without consequence (security cameras are pointless if no-one can act immediately). Unfortunately, the loss of inventory ultimately gets passed on to the customer. I'm sure this is an ongoing problem at all stores, (maybe HD has just accepted this as cost of doing business) but it was just amazing to see how easy it was for this thief just to walk out of the store, luckily, I prevented him from taking everything he was after, and the store manager seemed appreciative. A young female employee in the lights department helped me to find and retrieve a heavy item in the garden department. She went above and beyond her call of duty (don't know her name, though) -- a rare jewel. A customer service employee (Karen) helped me to place an online order while in the store and checked out the items available in the store. She made the transaction much smoother and I felt safe when checking out. We do need these kind people to help us out in the stores; for this to happen social skills are a must.

I worked with a gentleman named Kenny. He was polite, helpful and knowledgeable about the products I needed to replace my dryer vent, as I did not have clue. He was a pleasure to work with (04.02.18). Also, cashier Kathy G. was very courteous. A pleasure to shop there.

Customer service is exceptional at this store!! I am always welcomed with a friendly smile! All of the staff members are very helpful and knowledgeable!! The store is always very neat, clean, and well organized so I always enjoy shopping here!! The store always has a variety of quality items I am looking for, as well as new items I find myself wanting, at great prices!!! On my latest visit, as I was about to pay for a new storm door, my cashier (Elaine) noticed that the storm door was damaged (the box was ripped on the back and you could see a crack on the storm door). Elaine was so kind!!! She not only told me the storm door was damaged, she called and had another employee retrieve a replacement storm door for me!! By doing this, Elaine saved me the time and aggravation of having to drive home only to have to drive back to return a damaged storm door!! Thank you so much, Elaine, for your help!! And thank you to all the staff members in this Home Depot store for always making me feel right at home!!! I will definitely be back for all my home improvement projects!!!
