This store is so neat and organized. I was in and out in 15 minutes, including the checkout process. It's so easy to find what you need, even when you're in a rush. They have everything!

I always appreciate how chipper associates are when coming through the store on evenings and weekends. Multiple associates greet you and offer assistance as you walk through the store which makes for a very positive shopping experience.

This is my favorite Home Depot anywhere. Most employees are super friendly and actually do their absolute best to help. I cannot say enough good things about this place. It's my home away from home.

Good customer service is hard to find in stores these days. Home Depot is different, and this location in particular impressed me with how helpful employees were at every step. Plus I finally found the right product for my needs, and within my budget.

I have shopped at Home Depot’s from the Pacific Northwest to the East Coast. The staff at the Sunset Valley Home Depot were among the most helpful I have experienced. We really appreciated the help from Moe A.

I made the mistake of ordering floors from there. The installation crew from a different company did an excellent jpb and the floors look fabulous but Home Depot was the worst customer service I have ever had in my life. DO NOT go there.

Max meets me in the parking lot. He gets a cart for me. He has helped me load material and load my truck. He is always busy improving HD’s brand. Go Max.

August assisted us in the purchase of a new BAR B Q. HIS EXPERT ADVISE WAS EXCEPTIONAL And he went out of his way to get the product and load it for us. I and my wife are disabled Viet Nam Veterans... Without his help we could not have been able to purchase this product. Outstanding service. Thanks

I asked 3 different employees for help answering questions about my purchase, and waited over 20 minutes for someone to help me. Then after I checked out (spending nearly $500) I was stopped by another employee suspecting me of stealing. She asked to see my receipt. She was literally standing next to the cashier that checked me out. I’m livid about this experience.

I just bought a number of RIO planters and am so pleased with them. HD has a great selection too. I bought similar plants last year and they bloomed all the time from spring until mid winter. Such a joy.

The South Austin Sunset Valley store has a great inventory and almost always has what I need. I go there at least once a week and it’s a great place to shop.

There are a few home improvement stores in the area but this one is by far the best. The employees are always friendly, helpful, and look like they enjoy their jobs!

There was an employee literally walking the isles asking customers if they needed assistance.

The staff at Home Depot Sunset Valley know their stuff. They're helpful and pleasant. Whenever I can, I try to head over to this store since I know I'll get great service and support, whether it's something small or a big re-model project.

Sunset Valley, Austin TX location March 5, 2022 7:30pm - 8:30pm. The department leader had no intention at all to help customers. Her team mate was clearly overwhelmed. The leader did not offer any help and was doing something else but dealing with customers. It took more than 25 minutes before the station leader decided to call another staff member to assist. Throughout that 25 minutes and after the call for assistance, the station leader continued ignoring customers waiting in line. To make it worse, the leader was whining about wanting to leave work early and was very dismissive and condescending to the staff who came to provide help. I've worked in customer service and understand that it can be hard and frustrating. But still, be professional and don't be rude to your co workers and customers.

I entered the store with a goal of finding parts to fix a cold laminator that I was just introduced to earlier that day. With only a few bits of info that I could communicate, Ray in hardware was able to help me solve my problem. He went above and beyond by realizing what I thought I was looking for and suggesting a better alternative. I walked out of Home Depot $1.96 poorer.

I purchased a new refrigerator. I had very strict limitations on size due to living in an older home. This was a big purchase for me and I was quite nervous about finding the right size, etc. Mimi was so helpful and patient and assisted me in looking at several models and offered advice about features, etc.

I came in to buy paint. I had specific colors that I needed and when I handed the paper to the girl she said that wasn’t helpful. She had me read all the paint to her. I told her size and she said they do t make quarts so I had to buy a gallon. She was very condescending and rude. She refused to work with me to get the right paint. They didn’t have the last one that I needed when I asked if it was in another store she told me I could check and walked away. I ended up going to a another place for my last paint and they said they do sell it in quarts so I know she took advantage of me. After she made my paint. She left wet marks on the cans and shoved them at me. She didn’t check to see if that was right. She wasn’t friendly or helpful. I will not be coming back. I know Home Depot probably won’t read this but they should and change. I got much better service at other stores!

The people in all departments are willing to help and show me where things are. If they cannot show me, they tell me which aisle and on which side of the aisle to look. The employees are very knowledgeable and have good people skills.

I was pleasantly surprised with my experience of the staff at this Home Depot. Everyone along the way was pleasant, professional, & concerned that I was satisfied with my purchase and ultimate return and credit. The problem was not the Home Depot staff or product (Whirlpool dishwasher) but its third-party installers from Daryl Flood. They lost the sale when they did not install the dishwasher properly, were rough and incorrigible in my home. Daryl Flood lost the sale; Home Depot won my business back.

Tried to purchase on line as website indicated 17 items of what I wanted in stock at Sunset Valley store in Austin. After no contact for several hours from local store to let me know item ready for pickup I cancelled order and went to store. Got to store and no one could locate any one of the 17 items for me to purchase. Decided to buy similar item and when purchasing was not able to use 10% coupon because it said it was redeemed with on line purchase. No one at the store was of any help. I can't imagine a worse experience. Lastly, this is a dirty cluttered old store that should be replaced with a newer more modern store. Expect far more from HD and got far less.

Our trip was a bit hectic and chaotic, but given a black Friday sale it was expected. However, I did not think that I would be told several times by young associates that "they didn't know where the item would be and that I should ask someone else." This got a bit irritating and as many times as I wanted to walk out the store we finished shopping. for each younger associate you can feel their energy in not want to be there or even help. It took waiting 5 minutes to ask an older associate for help, the only reason for waiting is because there were literal lines of customers seeking help all knowing that they would actually help them and not be turned away. It was until we went to the check out and met Ms. Cecilia. biggest smile in the store with a bright attitude that turned our frustration into peace. I thank her gracefully if it had not been for her I would probably have taken the frustration home. All it literally takes is ONE person to show they care for not only their customers but their job and she showed both! So if you find yourself in the Home Depot and Ms. Ceceila is your cashier be assured that your departure will be the highlight of your day.
