Today was different; as I navigated the aisles exploring riveting tools and accessories, Kenya approached me with genuine enthusiasm, asking if I had any questions. Seizing the opportunity, I inquired about the sizes of rivets, and to my amazement, Kenya deftly used a box cutter to open the rivet case, explaining the options available. Her precise and lighthearted approach not only solved my problem but also made the experience enjoyable. I’m eager to return to this Home Depot, hoping to encounter Kenya again, or perhaps I’ll affectionately nickname her ‘Rosie the Riveter’ for her dedication and expertise. She embodies the transformative experience that has renewed my confidence in getting assistance at Home Depot.

The past two times I’ve been to store #6570 in South Austin, I’ve had Sales associates that went out of their way to help me. Henry in Lighting and Jose in plumbing/electrical. They were both incredibly knowledgeable and made me feel taken care of which resulted in a more pleasurable shopping experience. Home Depot is lucky to have both of them on the team, and the type of customer service they give should be rewarded.

I had made a purhase and had it delivered to my house. When Home Depot arrived there were things missing so I had to go to the store and pick them up myself. Home Depot did offer to have them delivered the next day but I need them in the morning. The Mgr kindly refunded me the delivery charge due to me having to go and pick the items up my self. He did it without hesitation or questions. I was very pleased with the customer service HD provided.

I’m a professional painter and I’ve been going here for years for all my supplies. They are usually well stocked and the customer service has always been good. It’s definitely the busiest Home Depot in Austin so expect that, but otherwise they’re good.

Steve in lighting is AMAZING! Took the time to educate me and see what was wrong and the fix that wouldn’t require me to have to redo the entire fixture. His professionalism, subject matter expert status were truly what I needed. Thank you Home Depot for Steve in lighting!

What a wonderful member of your team. I think she said she has been with Home Depot for 15 years! I went in to find a Ryobi leaf blower that was online. It was offered for $99 with the charger. However, they did not have this offer in the store. Paul was so kind to talk to me about other options and listened to my concerns about the quality and price. He recommended a product that was $50 over my budget, but proceeded to offer me $20 off the product. He said it was a great deal for a quality leaf blower that will get the job done (heavy wet leaves). I tried out the product this morning and it works great!! Thanks to Paul for making my day. Thanks to Sheila (cashier) for your kindness.

Don’t expect any real help

Busy Saturday at Home Depot. Chris R was pleasant, professional and thorough to work with in ordering my new window treatments.

This Home Depot is usually well stocked with friendly associates. Deciding to keep all lumber carts for customers to fetch for themselves and drag the into the store was not a bright idea.

This Home Depot appears to be managed very well. As every staff member you encounter greet you like they are a friend and not like you’re someone who is messing up their chores… And it’s very refreshing… Also, the store is remarkably clean everywhere.

We are doing a full home remodel and shopped several companies for kitchen cupboard designs. Once we connected with Pamela Richards at this Home Depot we finally felt heard. She listened and make recommendations fitting our style. The entire process was not only productive and easy but a lot of fun! Customer service in this store has been outstanding in assisting us with numerous orders, returns and exchanges!

We have been doing a landscaping project and found Home Depot to have everything we needed. They had things that we were not able to find at other "home improvement" stores. The Garden dept was beautiful. There was an excellent variety of plants, flowers and trees. It was well displayed and many more choices. The Garden Dept. manager Jose Flores was extremely helpful and courteous.

Trips to a crowded store on the weekend to home repair and paint can be a real drag. My friend and I go every couple of weeks and work on projects at her house. We are ladies in our 50s and have been friends since I was 18. We have been checked out by Cecilia about 3 different times. She makes the end of the shopping experience so happy and positive! We laugh and tell stories of all the things we ladies can get done. Even when we are tired, we leave feeling proud and seen. Thank you Cecilia (Shelia) We look forward to seeing you for our next project!

I bought a shower door weeks ago and never received it. Cancelled and reordered. Still haven't received it. Don't even know if it has shipped. Never received an email that it has or has not been shipped and of course no one answers the phone.

Everyone was so helpful and Sheila was definitely the standout. I recommend this location and we will be back!

Easy to find what I need, friendly staff.

I recently had to purchase a new refrigerator and thought it was going to be an unpleasant experience. I knew the model I wanted, and while HD did not have it on the floor, Mimi in the appliance department was extremely helpful in pulling up the specs online, answering all my questions, checking me out and giving me some great pointers when it comes time for delivery. While being the only person working in the department and getting approached by several other customers (one a really rude lady who was out of line), Mimi maintained her professionalism and a smile throughout all her interactions. Her positive attitude made the experience one to remember. Thanks Mimi!

While visiting the store looking for Black Friday deals (you can imagine how busy the store was), I found a great deal on a tool set that I wanted to donate to a family in need. I quickly found a store employee, Gary, who helped disentangle the safety wire holding the tool set. Simply making conversation, I relayed what I intended to do with the tool set. Gary then decided that the store would donate a second tool set for another family. This was completely unsolicited and completely wonderful! Truly this is what the joy of holidays is all about! Thank you Home Depot- customer for life!

Of 12 stores in the Austin region, this one is one of the best. Managers are great, staff knows their stuff, everyone is helpful. Good selection too.
