We own a 12 acre "farm" where we keep two donkey's and a sheep 8 chickens and two ducks. We live in a 49 year old log cabin. We use this store throughout the year to purchase materials. The store is well run, clean, well stocked and has dedicated and knowledgeable employees. Always a great shopping experience.

I don't go to Home Depot often but I needed mulch and much to my delight it was on sale today. I appreciate the sale and the quality of the products available.

I was walking around looking a little lost (I have to admit) and an HD employee asked if I needed help then guided me to the right aisle.

In contrast to the common belief that big box stores are impersonal and unhelpful, we have been quite impressed and pleased with the friendly, helpful service we have consistently received at the Rutland Home Depot on several occasions that included everything from small purchases to major ones (appliances, windows, etc.). We will definitely be repeat customers!

Thank you Tim for all your help. I am working on a difficult plumbing project. Tim understood my problem and spent a great deal of time with me to help me find the parts I needed.

Terry at self checkout was amazing

I went into this location recently to have some paint re-shaken that I had on-hand for about a year. Cecilia in the Paint department offered to shake this paint with no hesitations. Then the time came to check out what the quality was like. Upon opening the paint can lid, we discovered that the paint was completely bad, it was frothy and watery. I could not use it. I also had 2 gallons of it. Without skipping a beat, Cecelia started the process with Ben to replace these gallons. I was blown away by this gesture. I was willing to accept the loss.

This store is great!! The employees are all so friendly and helpful. The store always has what we are looking for.

Dave is so helpful. When shopping look for him. He will meet you with a smile and is very knowledgeable.

I ran out of a particular Rustoleum paint and needed it quickly to finish a job. Tractor Supply did not have it and two paint stores were closed. Home Depot was open and had Rustoleum. Paint drips over the side of the can I brought in obscured much information about the particular kind. I found what I thought was the right one but went to the desk where a young lady, Cecilia, was at. I asked if she knew paint and she said Yes. I showed her both cans and she painted a paint stick with both and dried them. They were not a match: one was gloss, the other was flat. She then accompanied me back to the shelf and found the one that matched. To prove it, she painted the stick again. They were a match! Cecilia was indispensable to my getting the right paint. Many thanks to Cecilia at the Rutland, Vermont Home Depot, and to Home Depot for being open and stocking the needed paint.

Kudos to the helpful employees—especially knowledgeable, patient, and courteous Brian, who went out of his way to locate numerous electrical items on my list.

We are a busy small family business. Sometime we need to pick up essentials on the run. Perfect!!!

It is sad that I’m having to drive two hours to complete a sale but without the effort of Pat and her team things would’ve been much worse so my family is grateful for Pat and her assistance in completing the sale of the Pergola that we needed

Just purchased an LED light/fan and it works great. In the past I purchased an efficiency refrigerator and it has been working perfectly.

Home Depot is the go-to place in Rutland for homeowners, gardeners, tradespeople, and so many others. The employees are friendly, polite, and helpful - and sometimes they are neighbors. If you have a problem with a purchase/product, the return desk is always cooperative and efficient.

My purchases are very helpful to renovate my living space.

Self Checkout Customer Service is less than desirable. They hover over the customers, then accuse them of not paying for things after they watched them scan all items individually. Run the card and retrieve their receipt.

Libby in kitchen cabinets is fabulous, she did multiple designs for me to choose the one I liked best and saved me lots of money.

Whenever i have to go to home depot i always feel appreciated as i am greeted with a smile everytime. They always find a way to help me out and anything i neeed is always available. Thanks home depot!

I called this store many times and could not speak to anyone regarding my needs for a dryer. I was put on hold each time and not a single person answered, it just rang and rang. I drove 30 minutes to the store and the service desk girls said there was just two of them there and couldn't be answering the phones as they were waiting on people. I had to purchase my dryer that was on the floor and wait a week for it to be delivered. When someone wants a dryer, they cant wait a week. We have a large family and needed it yesterday. BUT, we had to wait.

I highly recommend going to a Home Depot rather then shopping online. The associates are informative and very friendly. I appreciate their patience as I am a new home owner and do not know very much about home improvement. Hoping to do more shopping and more renovating with Home Depot.

Stated quantities of items at my local store are often very wrong, all too often online states my local store has several of the items I'm looking for 'IN STOCK', only an immediate trip to THAT store has NONE!

I went to return an item & the cashier Gabriella rude unfriendly & always is even to other people.

When I need help, the team is always available and helpful.
