Al is very helpful and helped me with my purchase.

I was very pleased to see two people with disabilities working at this store. My uncle was wheelchair bound and I know from my own personal family's experience that there are fewer job opportunities for people with certain disabilities. I was happy to see that Home Depot not only has a policy on hiring people with disabilities (as is the law now) but that they actually actively seek people with disabilities and provide them with job options.

The associates are friendly and approachable. The Store is tidy and well organized and a lot of products available to choose from.

THE PATERSON IS ALL WAYS CLEAN AND DON'T STINK OF STUFF.. AND GOOD PARKING TOO.

Customer returns and pickup area is the worst. Bad management of personal who are standing around as if there were no lines of customers waiting to be served. Your lucky if these employees are taking care of one customer at a time (some just watching and none are willing to do both return and pickup together). Managers do not even have the mental capacity to monitor lines in an effort to assist customer service.

This location has two staff members (Clyde and Seindole),very helpful and professional. Clyde has a very strong customer service skills and called Seindole to complete solving my issue which she did in a very professional matter.Clyde did not leave until my issue was resolved and the next day I saw Seindole and gave me my receipt.These two great employees deserve a recognition and reward for their excellent customer service skills.On my behalf I would like to thank The Home Depot for having such great employees

the only home depot store ill never ever planning on going back, they should be trained by the Mahwah home depot

Nice store, sometimes it is very busy, however the crew is very helpful and you can always find help, some customers may disagree however I go out of my way to shop at this store.

Friendly employees, good selection, 3.5% sales tax and a great food cart (outside) make this store my go-to Home Depot.

The store is convenient for me, if you need anything (and I mean anything) in the store go find Al bc he works the whole store but you can find him mostly around aisles 21 to 26 don't know his last name, he is a dark skinned slim man that knows the whole store. Also see Jorge or Victor for plumbing advise they have lots of knowledge on this field and will not steer you wrong just to move on to the next person, they both will walk you to the item you are looking for. I do not like when someone tells me it's down aisle 21 to the left half way down. Help me find it please.

Employees always helpful.

The Paterson store is always stocked well and clean. All the emplyee’s are friendly and knowledgeable. Everybody says hello, from the person who brings the wagons in, the greeter, the sales associates, the cashiers, and the store managers... The the parking lot is big, clean and traffic pattern makes it easy to get in and out of the store.

Unreasonable interpretation of store policy regarding volume purchases. Need to be more flexible especially with long time pro xtra members.

Poor service and has a mulch sale through Sunday and you go to purchase to be told that your out and that you can buy this one at $3.33 which is $1.33 more then sale item that you advertised. Then also have a sale sign on another one that price was incorrect cause store forgot to take down a old sign and still once again to your forced to pay the $3.33 for that one also. So poor service and really dislike the old bate and switch deals companies do. Look to satisfy your customers rather then inconveniencing them and you won’t loose them to the competition. Service is the only thing that separates everyone.

The store was fully stocked with the flooring I wanted to purchase and the salesperson was extremely helpful when I asked a lot of questions. I always shop at your Paterson location and always feel confident that I will find what I need with no problem.

The only reason I shop here is because its near to were I need supplies.

There are good employee's here. In plumbing, there is a latin male, that is always willing to help people and is approachable. Paint, if you ask right at the desk, they can tell you exactly where something is. Returns are easy, within the 90 days. This is a very self-serve store and best of luck getting it. Incorrect items are in incorrect boxes, or items are not stocked, or in-store quantity is wrong. Other areas? You are better off using the Home Depot app to find the aisle, bay etc...and hope..hope..the app does not say "See an Associate", you will have a 25% chance of someone asking if you need help. You have a better chance of someone asking "Are You a Home Owner" to try to sell you something not on the shelves. Honestly, we are a better off ordering online and doing in-store pick up, the caveat is losing the 3.3125% tax vs 6.625% Countless times, there are issues with registers (ie scanners not working, chip scanners not working). Then there are the lines that form on the registers that actually have cashiers.

Store lacks customer experience from the entry level employees to managent. I utilize Home Depot in different locations and the quality of service Im use to from Home Depot you cant find at this location. Is horrible when you have a concern and you bring it up to management and you are totally disregarded.

Trecia was awesome! When others couldn’t help she got it done, was friendly and knew her stuff!

I received great service from Valerie at the service desk. She not only helped me retrieve my item but her professionalism and friendliness was a plus. She has an amazing smile that’s very welcoming.
