My husband and I live in OH. Our daughter and son-in-law live in Edgewater. They built us a small cottage( casita) on their property. The flooring and cupboards were done by Home Depot and we continue to shop here for items to complete our little home away from home.

I stay quite busy as an artist and most of my projects involve building materials such as wood, paint, epoxy, adhesives, electrical supplies etc. It’s a great feeling to be able to get it all in one store.

I made an online order and went to pick it up, but they were backed up and offered to have someone help me find each of the items. This not only saved me time but gave me a personalized shopping experience. When the associate (I think his name was Dylan) and I had trouble finding a specific planter, two other associates (Trell and a woman who’s name I can’t remember) worked together to find the planter AND go get it down in a pallet from the very top shelf. The BOPIS staff worked as a team to find solutions and accommodations such as discounting an open bag of fertilizer. I have to highlight the gardening staff! I am a gardening newbie and just got a desert rose and bonsai tree to start caring for as a hobby. Maia from gardening was just amazing. She talked to me like a friend and made an effort to go above and beyond. She got to know about me as a person, and even repotted my two plants for me!! She gave me recommendations and tips to make sure my plants succeed! Andy and Lauren in gardening were also very sweet and helpful; Lauren checked me out efficiently and gave me a discount on an open bag of soil when I needed to get additional items, and Andy helped me bring the heavy planters to my car.

The aisles,especially lumber,are always full of carts making it impossible to traverse them.

This home depot uses up all the carts for what I assume are curbside orders. Not only can you not find a cart, the aisles are littered with unattended carts full of all kinds of stuff sticking out of them. How annoying!!!! And dangerous! Every time we shop here it is the same story.....

Today was the last day for the soil promo of 5 for $10 on miracle grow. My home store was sold out. So drove 40 mins to this location. Here they were sold out of black cow but had the soil. Story of my life. Anyways I paid for everything and cashier was super sweet. He said to go by Sod area and show receipt for my 15 bags of soil. We pull up and open our trunk. 10 mins and they didnt budge to come over. Then this truck pulls in front of us backs in and they get help. My husband even stood in front of the gate. Horrible service at the sod area. Unfortunately I don't think I want to ever visit that location again.

One of the easiest purchases I have made. The employee walked me through the whole selection and purchasing procedure. Highly recommend these people for their personal care, friendliness, and professionalism.

Salesperson was fantastic (Susan S.) , along with the very friendly, professional and efficient delivery men.

Generally the staff is friendly, well versed and efficient. Seems like a fun atmosphere and good place to work. The staff seems well trained.

Normally when we go in this store I really get a little bit upset we can't never find a worker in any of the Departments we're shopping in to ask for questions and also we had to wait several times to get help loading up our truck because my partner is 81 years old and we bought a lot of lumber a few times and I mean a lot of lumber and when we requested somebody to help us load our truck up we were told a couple of times that no there was nobody around to help us and a few more times we had to wait for like 30 minutes or 45 minutes for somebody to come help us and when they came the guy was ordered in my partner who was 81 years old so I told him I felt so bad as I know let's just tell him to forget it and loaded ourselves so but today was a different story today we got a lot of help everybody was pretty much every time I turn around somebody was asking if we needed help they were rarely busy and we got help at check out and we had two guys actually helping us load our car so yes it was a very pleasant experience today Way to Go Home Depot New Smyrna Beach

I am still waiting on my washer and dryer, however, I wanted to give Recognition to Susan! She helped us during our big purchase and she was such a sweet heart! Definitely knew her stuff and she was very patient!

Miss Jane is professional yet personable, and boy can she zoom around to go above and beyond! I always check to see if she’s there so I can check out in her lane

I have been a loyal customer since this store first opened it's doors. Many stores can provide home improvement products, but it's the value that I receive, and the friendly, helpful service that the awesome HD team members provide to me that made me a customer " for life " !

I get supplies from stores all over Central Florida and New Smyrna Beach Home Depot is by far the best. Eddie in customer service and those around him are always a dream to work with. They are knowledgeable and always have a problem-solving attitude. I’ve never heard them complain, or seen them not work together quickly and efficiently. I’ve had multiple issues with projects. I’ve been working on and trying to get product and they always immediately have a good attitude and have solved the issues. I’m most impressed by their attitudes when I have a challenge. They always go above and beyond to remedy and get answers for me.

Troy was phenomenal, knowledgeable and kind. He assisted Mr in lumber and found budget friendly options. I'm DEFINITELY coming for all my home remodeling needs.

Picking out an artificial Christmas tree is not my favorite thing to do! So, my husband and I welcomed Karen M’s help when she offered. We really appreciated her professionalism and full attention to our questions while we were making our decision. She was smiling and really made the experience fun! A huge thank you to Karen and to Home Depot for having such a gem of an employee!

Whatever I need advice or to make a purchase, I know I can rely on the knowledgeable, kind, hardworking employees at the New Smyrna Beach Home Depot!

The gardening section has very little fruit tree varieties.

Susan I’m customer service was super helpful when we needed help ordering a product and an installation. She took great care of us and we would go back to her in a heartbeat. Thanks for being there for us!

I will never return to the New Smyrna home Depot due to disrespect belittling and embarrassment while being judged because maybe I can't afford to live like some but I work every day to live the best I can

I was looking for a refrigerator and I had a lot of questions. The sales person was very helpful and patient. I had to make sure that it would fit in my house so she wrote down all the information for me and I came back the next day to buy it.

JAMES AND KAY are true gems

I purchased a refrigerator here and although I wasn’t expecting it the salesman told us because it was an Energy Star unit it was exempt from tax. The total came through with tax and he couldn’t get it off, we need the refrigerator so I wasn’t gonna loose sleep over it. I just want someone to explain to him how it works so he doesn’t tell someone else and end up in a brawl.

Cashier, Raegia, was awesome. She was so helpful and friendly. She goes above and beyond to make you feel like a special customer of Home Depot. She treats you with respect and is very efficient at her job. Jacob provided extra special service delivering my mulch to my truck. He was very efficient on the forklift and made sure he got the pallet placed in the right spot on my truck. He was very careful when he loaded the pallet to make sure he didn't just drop it on truck bed.

I was helped by the most delightful employee I have ever encountered at the New Smyrna Beach store! He is a local young man who knows what customer service is all about his parents should be very proud. He went out of his way to help me figure out the best option to cover my leaking Roof from hurricane ian damage of insurance is refusing to pay for! He understood my problem since I have already covered it 4 times and it’s still leaking throughout my house. He was able to help me find couplers for the air tank so I can staple up the roof covering. Thank you for restoring my faith in my local store!
