Good place to shop

I tried to get 5 shelves cut at 8:20 pm, in the lumber department with a cutting station, over an hour and a half before closing. I was told by a worker in that department that he had to go check with a manager to see if he could cut my shelves for me at that time. After he came back, he told me that his manager would prefer that he not cut the 5 small shelves I needed at that time because he was the only one staffed, and that he needed to "stack wood and take out the trash" and asked if I could come back another day. This was already the second time I was there for these 5 small shelves. Also, i am currently 7 months pregnant so i have no free time to keep wasting to keep coming back to a place where i should have gotten what I needed the first time with no added problems. If the store is understaffed then work on getting more employees that can help customers instead of "taking out trash". I am HIGHLY dissatisfied and disgusted with the employees and management if their top priorities are taking out trash so they can close the store over an hour and a half before closing instead of helping paying customers. If I could have cut the shelves myself, I would have. I can not believe that in the time it took this worker to go ask his manager for permission to do his job, he could have been finished making 4 cuts into a piece of wood that I needed for these shelves. It wasn't like I was asking for anything crazy, I needed 4 rectangles cut. I am in complete shock how terrible the customer service is in this store. If I managed Home Depot, my top priority would be to help customers with what they needed, rather than taking out trash and preparing to close the store over an hour and a half early. I am completely appalled at the way this business is ran. For someone who has ALWAYS worked with the public and guest satisfaction, it is shameful to see that not only employees, BUT MANAGERS have NO INTEREST in taking care of their customers and giving them a decent shopping experience to ensure that they continue to return and spend their hard earned money with them. At this point I am unsure if I even want to return to this business. I don't want to give a company my money if they cant even take care of my needs, especially when that's what they are there to do, and SUPPOSED to do. I am EXTREMELY UNHAPPY with The Home Depot. I don't think I will ever recommend them to anyone I know after the experience I had with them. If you aren't there to help people and make sales, then what is the point of having such a store? If I owned this store I would be sure to retrain the managers and employees of what their priorities should be for working in such a business. This is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE.

STORE IS EASY TO FIND CONTRACTOR ENTERANCE NOT ALWAYS EASY TO GET INTO AND OUT OF BECAUSE OF THE WAY CUSTOMERS ARE PARKING AROUND ENTERANCE

Like having this home depot right in the neighborhood. Staff are pleasant and know their merchandise

My experience in the store today was a great one I found what I wanted and it even was on sale today. Also was very satisfied with the sales person and her performance of meeting my needs.

Glad to see your pipe threader is repaired. Don't understand why it took almost a year/ .

Employees are always willing to assist , with the help of their devices the location of the items is perfect.

Having a credit card from Home Depot really helps out you can find house cleaning products and most of all the people are great

Love shopping at this store its very convenient but had a terrible cashier experience she spoke in very low whisper and for my fiance that's hard of hearing it was frustrating for him and embarrassing for him to keep repeating " I can't hear you please speak up" she still continued to speak in a very low whisper so AGAIN loved the store but the cashier experience was exasperating.

Yes I would. Nice staff makes all the difference.

If your doing a home improvement then head out to HomeDepot ad get some professional help to best complete your task.

The only thing I want to say is that the service tech that help me was Julissa and if it wasnt for the long time that it took for her to get through with your credit department and to straighten out what they needed I was ready to leave .She did a fantastic job. I hope you realize you have a very good service rep.

Great store

employees very courteous and helpful

In general this is a good store. The staff is generally helpful in finding products. There has been occasion that certain products that I came into the store for have been out of stock. Also once I ordered an appliance and the staff assigned to helping me load the appliance onto my truck were less than helpful.

Clerk threatened to run me over with a forklift because my cart was to heavy for me to move any further to the side! That’s how they treated a 60 year-old woman!

The service was great and i was able to find the items due to them being marked great.

Most of the time this store is neat and clean. The employees are very helpful. As in any store sometimes they are hard to find but once yu do they will help you with what you need The stores only hire so many empolyees to keep costs down and that is not the empoyees fault. It is like this in every store you go into today. Just remember this when shopping in any store. Overall this store and its empoyees get a 5 star rating from me.

I always have a successful trip to the Home Depot ! I either find what I need on my own or one of the Home Depot associates helps me .

Ordering online for in-store pick-up is useless. They never have it ready when you get there and it takes them longer to get it then it would take you.

I went to this store because I needed a particular nitrogen fertilizer and no other store had it. Boy was I glad I did. I have NEVER, been to any Home Depot store anywhere, and I go to many, (this is not the closest one to me! 13 miles away!) anyway...The garden department young man, Anthony! OMgosh! I have never met a more eager to work and help and so polite and friendly young man. We just don't find many like this young man. And the garden center...impecable. No wandering around to try to find things. Just a joy to shop at #1234 Elmwood Ave, Buffalo, NY Home Depot and I SO APPRECIATE Anthony and I called the store manager to tell her my positive experience...and...I DO NOT WRITE REVIEWS! EVER! I don't like to, but this time...I had to...thats how great it was to shop today and I had 10 bags of fertilizer and 2 bags of topsoil. 460 pounds of product and Anthony loaded it into my car with a smile on his face...happy to do it for me. WOW...a smile! What a great kid. I am just so impressed and its 10;45 pm I am exhaused, did my fertilizer, mowed my lawn, need a shower, I am a 68 yr old lady, tired but HAD TO TAKE TIME TO WRITE THIS. GREAT JOB GUYS! GREAT JOB!
