Focus on the store and your shopping experience: 1. Did you find the products you were looking for easily? No. Employees generally have no idea where merchandise is so you have to resort to bumbling around the store yourself or going through the god awful home depot website on your phone to find the aisle. 2. Were you able to get assistance if you needed it? Not really. Most employees here are, as I said, completely clueless. There are a few exceptions but that's the problem - competent employees are an exception. 3.Was the store clean? It's a Hardware Store. It wasn't Target or Sam's Club level of clean but it was alright. 4.Were our associates friendly and helpful? Most are not because most are kids who have no idea what they're doing or are middle aged adults who have gotten by by being mediocre. I say this as being someone who worked in retail for years - in big cities where it's undoubtedly more stressful than little old Monroe LA. Maybe it's a Monroe thing, not a Home Depot thing. Who knows.

Only if you have the understanding that 1. all stores are having trouble getting people to work. 2. SOME not all employee are a bit sexist, so if you are a women be prepared to run into that.

Daryl in the garden district was very friendly with greeting upon arrival and then went out of his way to help me find things. As usual the store is clean and they almost always have anything needed

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS STORE. THE EMPLOYEES WERE VERY HELPFUL. GREETED WITH FRIENDLINESS AND RESPECT. THE EMPLOYEES WERE IN NO HURRY TO BRUSH ME OFF WHEN I HAD QUESTIONS ABOUT CERTAIN PRODUCTS. I WILL DEFINITELY VISIT THIS STORE AGAIN!

Employee Larry Voohrees should be cloned, mass produced, and put 'On Duty' during all Open Hours of The Home Depot. A friendlier and more knowledgeable person will not be found when it it comes to stores such as The Home Depot. And when you ask him to help you find an item, he never has to consult a hand-help computer ... and he doesn't just tell you where the item is ... he personally walks with you and goes directly to where the item is stocked to make sure you find what you need. Thanks Larry for all you have done for so many folks for so many years at The Home Depot in Monroe, Louisiana !.!.!

Shopping at this store is overall going to. Daytime employees you will majority of time get the customer service you expect. Evening it's about average, there are evening employees that will go over and beyond for customers whether you are shopping in the department they working in or not. I hope that the employees that do this keep up the great work and are being recognized for the great aspects that they being to the store by their department and store overheads/management, as well as from the corporate office. Honestly if the corporate/headquarters of any business isn't involved with their stores then nothing will be done or ran correctly. There's always a mentor we all learn from and expect to be taught and learn knowledge the right way from someone for something..No company or person is perfect but we can all be in the right chapter and on same page if we have the right material, learning and information. I would and will recommend this store to anyone along with directing whomever ask bout store to the right, knowledgeable and friendly employee that they will be satisfied with their shopping at The Home Depot Store #0366. I will continue to shop here myself. There is a good bit of improvement that needs to be addressed and retrained on in and on all levels of the store from the higher end to the bottom of totem pole.

Majority of the staff is rude and unwilling to help. They will send you to someone in an entirely different department so they won't have to deal with you (this is an experience I had with the kitchen department). Tonya with MEDS or METS is the worse! She was very unwilling to help and completely unprofessional....rolling eyes.

Strongly considdrvRETURN CASHIERS to speak up and say I CAN HELP with purchases or return vs being idle while the one cashier nearest doorway is busy SLOWLY checking back in RETURNS IN ESSENCE MAKE BETTER USE OF SLL CASH REGISTERS wto speed up check out time for customers waiting in long lines ( more than 3 customers waiting)

The products were easy to find. The Employees were great with assisting me with my needs. I thought they were the most friendly and helpful employees I've met during this Pandemic or before it. Again, Great Employees!

Too long to get quote for indoor window blinds. Rock wood is the company they have measuring and representative said it would be a month before they could come out. If Lowe’s can come out sooner I’ll go with Lowe’s

I bought a 60in. cub cadet I love it.

Floor employees were friendly and offered assistance. In-person sales cashiers were non-existent. Home Depot should keep local citizens employed by hiring sales cashiers rather than depending on self-checkout. It's an economics 101 for the community rather than a profit margin for Home Depot. Otherwise, the only sales cashier Kristy was in the garden center but was friendly and apologized for the wait.

This store and the staff are "5 Star Class and A+" Personalized friendly attention where you don't feel rushed and having to "settle" for whatever they have. They make sure you leave happy.

The best home improvement store

Great store with great staff who offer some of the best customer service. They always have what I need and if it isn't on the shelf they go above and beyond to locate what I do need.

When we walked into the store, at lease two employees welcomed us. Several employees asked if we needed any help. Tim Austin was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He helped us make a decision on what we were looking for. Kristin was our cashier and she was very pleasant and precise. She asked if we found everything we were looking for and wanted to know if we had a pleasant shopping experience. Good products, good variety, and the best customer service makes Home Depot our home improvement "go to" store.

Store is always neat and organized. Supplies and items are always stocked. The available stock is updated and reflects well within the mobile application which helps determine availability to save both time and money. Staff is friendly/courteous and seem eager to help and appear to have a happy customer service attitude.

This would be a great store if it weren't for the terrible employees. They act like they really couldn't care less if you shop there. Especially at the so-called "customer service" desk. I swear they must put their worst employees at this desk. Whoever the manager is, they need to learn a thing or two about which types of employees are Front-of-house vs. Those who belong on the loading dock!
