Overall the La Quinta store is much better managed and the employees are more accessible than the Indio store where they just plain ignore customers. The La Quinta store is much cleaner and the shelves are better stocked.

I had some reservations about this store, but after I dealt with wonderful employee named Angie at the pro desk. I had a change of heart. This woman did everything she could to help make my purchase go smoothly. I was watching her deal with other customers while I was in line, and got to see how she dealt with other customers and her personality remained the same, regardless of how the other customers were acting towards her. She's very respectful and polite even when some of the men she was dealing with were not. This woman deserves a huge raise.

My wife and I visited the La Quinta Home Depot on Friday, June 7th, we were looking for a specific decorative globe for a kitchen light we had just installed. We were trying to match another fixture exactly, and we had been to several home depot stores attempting to locate a second globe which matched the first one we purchased a year ago. According to the Home Depot website, the La Quinta store had four left, and this particular globe was to be discontinued. After searching the shelves and the boxed stock above the display, it was obvious that the globe we were looking for was not present, and the only one we could find was attached to a display of several hanging fixtures. We found an older female associate and asked if we could possibly purchase the display fixture, and she abruptly said, "No, it doesn't belong to us." Frustrated, we asked to speak to a manager. IN the mantime, another young associate by the name of Giovanni came to us and went out of his way to check his inventory both electronically and physically to try to locate the four globes which the website indicated were in stock. When the first associate we spoke with saw what he was doing, she dismissed him and ordered him out of the area to do another task, once again telling us there was nothing they could do. When the mangaer Jason arrived, he listened to our dilemma and immediately removed the globe from the display, wrote a SKU number on a piece of paper, and sent us to the checkout, allowing us to purchase what may have been the last globe available in our area to match our project. This particular Home Depot is a pleasure to do business with as long as you find the RIGHT associates to help you.

This is the best Home Depot store in Southern California. From the management to the loaders, everyone is cheerful, helpful, polite and efficient

Excellent service

Mara and Marilyn did a fantastic job with returns! I was in earlier today and was totally frustrated and left after an hour of trying to return several boxes of misc items. I came back tonight Mara and Marilyn were problem solvers and figured out how to get the task done. Thank you!

The MDF boards are not in-stock on a regular basis. Also when the boards do arrive some are already damaged. I would not buy the damaged boards nor will I buy a damage board at discount. The Lumber MGR needs to really focus on the out-of stock items in the MDF Pre-cut panels section of the lumber area. I run a business that is reliant on this product. I drive to the Indio location which is not near La Quinta , La Quinta us where we have our business. This is always an inconvenience. Also the Online in-stock information does not match the real in-stock thgats actually in the store. the MGR really needs to fix his or her inventory daily. Thanks

Had a very unpleasant experience at this home depot, I could not get any assistance from the few employees that were working, And one employee Joshua was the wort employee they have, Not help full , very rude This store I have had a bad experience one other time with no employees around to help, this store need to learn from other locations on how to properly staff a store with employees, last time I had to ask to speak with the general manager, and of course he wasn't available, just un satisfied with this home depot totally
