Cluttered store. Employees talking to other employees. Check out line was very long and slow. When I finally made it to the cashier she was rude. I'm having second thoughts about using to this Home Depot in the future.

Mary in returns was extremely rude and unprofessional. Rolled eyes. Said “you’re just unhappy because you’re not getting the answer you want” should not work with people and was a bully.

YES I'd recommend this store & id do it because of one phenomenal employee. Ray who was using the fork lift on Friday May 21,2021 in the evening was so friendly, helpful, & above and beyond satisfactory. He will be the reason 4 my repeat business. What most business establishment's put on there mission statements when it comes to what type of business they offer, even in customer service. Well Ray executed with flying colors I can't believe it. After the bad day we were having & then to go into a place of business already agitated & annoyed is not ideal. But Ray approached us,offered assistance to any questions we may have(keep in mind we crossed the barrier when the use machinery) yet he was not annoyed and if he was he didn't show it at all. He helped us save money when buying in bulk. He went & found other associates to help answer a question he didn't know the answer 2. Big props for that. He went above & beyond to show us where things were located rather than tell us an aisle and us hope they were right. with the out standing service we received by Ray he deserves a raise. Way to go Home Depot La Quinta cuz one employee demonstrated exceptional service I will gladly go shop your store for all my house/work repairs. We spend alot too by the way.

I love this store! It's close to my house and I always see the same employees and they are always so nice!

Cathy did an outstanding job. She listened, was courteous and professional. He customer service made me feel like I was taken care of and that I mattered. She was awesome.

I've been to many Home Depots having lived in other states. This one is my favorite. The Employees are always around and always willing to help.

Great service today at the La Quinta store from Jaime and the young lady in appliances, to the customer service lady that rang us up and the three young men that loaded our washing machine for us. Thank you.

If you have questions about products I purchased for Home Depot I would be happy to give ideas on how the products can work better and more efficent for your customers. I might need to call the companies and make suggestions. I believe they would save money.

The store is very poorly managed. The employees stand around and talk with one another instead of helping the customer. You need an Undercover Boss there. If you need help, they refer to other employees. My experience was awful. I purchased an appliance package back in September 2020, and the delivery was never completed. The installation crew didn't know what they were doing. I had to hire someone to complete my installation. Poor, poor service.

Store is always clean and well stocked; there is even a greeter at the front door!

Very disappointed by the level of customer service at the Home Depot La Quinta. We were unable to get the first item we picked out because it was out of stock despite being on display. Then the item we did purchase, bring home, put together was missing a critical piece. I called the store and asked if they could take one from another box and I would come and get it. The answer was 'no...they can't do that'. I pleaded with the gal and she put me on hold. She came back and said no. I asked for the store manager and I was connected to the Garden Manager. He apologized and all, but told me he wasn't allowed to do that and my only option was to bring the item back and return or exchange it. I explained it was already put together, took a great deal of time already, etc. and really, I just want / need the one piece. Again, he said he wasn't allowed to do that. I'm just shocked. What an inconvenience for a product just purchased. I called the manufacturer number on the box and they told me they had no guarantee if they could get the part in time for the holidays (which is what we needed this for) as it comes from China. I'm just at a loss at how this is such a total miss in providing good customer service. We really can't take this apart and break this down now so unfortunately, we will likely go buy another one, remove the piece from the box and return it and tell them the part is missing. URGH. Come on Home Depot. Really??

Garden and Nursery salesperson was very helpful and had a great attitude especially with Black Friday in full "bloom" (sorry, couldn't help myself). Customer service staff were very friendly.

We shop there often but are rethinking that. Employees are the return desk are extremely rude.

Employees were great!

They do NOT enforce mask wearing or distancing. The assistant manager said he had no authority to enforce it. As a result for their blatant disregard for the public health and safety, I will never shop there ever.

I have always found this store to be welcoming and helpful. It is evident that management has stressed the value of good customer service. I am not handy. That being said, it is reassuring to have a store that helps me make the right decisions when purchasing items for my home. I will always make Home Depot, my "go to" store for home improvement projects.

Brie, a women in the paint department was absolutely amazing!!

If you need to go to the paint dept, they are very friendly and more importantly, they know how to mix paint to get the specific tone want to fit with decor for that room. That's important to me. Thanks Paint Dept...
