There's lots of parking. When I went to buy some keypad locks, most of the shelves were empty for the affordable ones.

There are plenty of employees walking around who are able to answer questions and help find what you are looking for.

Though the store is the closest location, it is not always the most convenient. There are times when the staff are available or friendly, and this causes me to consider other locations.

The emphasis on health and security in this time of Covid 19 was professional and was strict to the rules of the time that we are In. Rest rooms , check out area were clean and personnel were professional and helpful

Employees are extremely friendly and helpful, and the store had all the items I were looking for that I saw online.

I was looking for a a gallon of paint and needed assistance. I provided Alexis with the code I needed and he looked it up in the system. He told me it would be 15 minutes. I looked for other items in the paint department and returned 20 minutes. I asked Alexis if my gallon was ready and he said that they did not have it in that store. Instead of apologizing for wasting my time he gave me attitude. I understand these situations happen but I did not appreciate the attitude instead of apologizing.

This home depot is one of the best around. The employees are friendly and the check-out lanes are well organized.

Big shout out to EDWIN, who is the floor and tile manager. I needed some extra tile to finish up my bathroom; i did a search of the brand/color online and the Hyde Park store had the product on the shelf. I called the store and Edwin helped track down the boxes; he put them aside and told me which aisle to look for. My wife and I arrived, found aisle 41 and tracked down our 6 boxes, just as Edwin had said. Thanks Edwin for being friendly and professional and for following through with my request. Big thumbs up.

Unprofessional cashiers and I couldn’t even use a GIFT CARD. Very ridiculous that someone cannot use their gift card.

Cashier at self check out was very rude to us customers . Yelling and raising her voice because no one knew where the actual line was, and because we tried using a broken self check out with no sign saying " Broken" very rude customer service.

At check-out, I advised the cashier that the item I was trying to purchase had a price of $9.97. The cashier said no, the price scanned closer to $25. I explained that the price where the item is hanging is wrong. He made me go back to the hardware aisle, take a picture of the price, and get back in line with the cashier. The cashier made me give him my phone with the picture showing (which is not sanitary due to COVID-19), and still did not honor the price.

The associate at the paint desk was very helpful, but person at self checkout, was bias. Make a statement, but then recant on that statement. VERY HYPOCRITICAL!!!

Been here many times. Good store, well-stocked. Staff members have always been great when I needed help, and they're usually a little easier to find at this particular location (easier -- not necessarily easy. Ha! But I don't hold that against them.) Overall a good Home Depot -- I'll be back.

I live very close to this store so by default most of my purchasing is coming from here. I recently purchased a home in the area and have been going twice a week for the last three months. Customer service is lacking. I have three anecdotes to share regarding their service. - Their management team is strangely absent, I've looked around for a manager and tend to find a man named Art, when I asked he cut a piece of dry wall for me so that it would fit into my car he looked generally disgruntled. He proceeded to butcher the cut and then his co-worker mentioned giving me a discount as is customary of 10% but he laughed it off and said I could still use it that way. - I have waited to get a package down from their upper shelves for over 40 minutes. I needed a package of insulation and needed to approach 2 different workers and both were very nice and called for the guys trained on the machine that reaches higher level. My complaint is on those that work those machines. They came 40 minutes later, and saw us waiting. They then proceeded to talk to three coworkers leaving the staff lounge, asked for a popsicle, flirted with a co-worker, and then got down the insulation. They didn't apologize for the wait or acknowledge us in the whole process. - Another time I was clearly in need of help next to the flashing for windows towards middle of store. They have a small counter there and five employees where sitting around the counter. They were audibly talking about their different departments (only once of which worked in the department they were currently standing in). When I approached them to ask a question about flashing, they looked at each other to see who would take it. One guy pointed at the other and said "you work here" and that guy finally answered me. Very disappointing to see how much of a trial it is to do some customer service. - Finally the situation with their lines is appalling. One women is constantly yelling at everyone about the lines. You have 30 grown adults in a line, if its so confusing that we can't figure it out, then the problem is probably with the lines system.

First let’s just say Abel is very helpful and friendly!! He provides the best customer service and is very knowledgeable in what he sells and all products in the store. He is able to answer all my questions and concerns I might have for products. All purchases I’ve made with his assistance have been the best investment I’ve made on all purchases. If you ever shop at this Home Depot Abel is your guy to go to for assistance!

Excellent customer service at the Hyde Park Home Depot!!! The store is well stocked and the employees are professional and helpful. So grateful that we can get this kind of excellent service in our community. Thank you Home Depot for making our community proud.

As much as I hate to write this negative review based on one experience, I have to. I was insulted and demeaned by this stores lost prevention. I was accused of scanning an item twice and missing another. As honest a mistake it was, it was not handled that way. I was treated like a thief, and not a customer. I allowed the clerk as well as lost prevention to see the receipt. The list prevention then starts accusing me trying to steal. Seriously? I told him" no problem whatever I missed or mistook can be paid for or removed". He was livid and accusatory and didn't want to let me pay without his scene he created. I became upset and began to argue with him. Then he threatens to cal the police. I told him he should. Very demeaning and honestly not worth coming back here.

Renee in Customer Service is a treasure! She's helpful, knowledgeable, patient and conversational. The current long lines to get in the store, as a result of Covid19, could be mitigated with a better process. Some of the garden items were out of stock, and not many knowledgeable garden personnel in that section, mostly teenagers or clerks.

Fast quick easy good service. Nice help. Fair price. Get to your nearest home depot. Almost everything you need on a regular is found there!
