While purchasing a new Ryobi battery-operated mower, Jamie and Kelsi went above and beyond their jobs to assist us in putting the mower together, explaining the clean air rebate, and loading it in our vehicle. If every employee had a work ethic like theirs, this Home Depot would outshine all other competition. Bravo!

Most other store have employees that don’t offer much help. I can’t even get to my first item before being asked if I need help finding anything. The Hurstbourne Home Depot is my go to.

As a contractor who is in this home depot at least 10 times a week i find it comforting that Patricia, Jose, and Peter who man the contractors desk/checkout are very knowledgeable as to the store layout so each trip is a quick in and out. They are smazing.

Had to replace a microwave and arrange purchase and installation by phone as I was out of town. Could not get through to the Home Depot nearest to my home so I called Hurstbourne store. Brian in appliances helped me get the microwave ordered and tentatively supplied an installation date. It was very easy. He answered all my questions and was very thorough.

I went to buy a stove and the employee who helped me was fantastic. His name is Martin and he was friendly , funny and very experienced in his job!

I purchased three live swags to take to the cemetery for the graves of my parents and son. The bows were very dirty from being outside, so I purchased a roll of ribbon to make new bows and asked to borrow a pair of scissors at the service desk. A lady told me scissors were on aisle 10. Another employee at the service desk, a young lady named Kelsi, offered me a pair of scissor and helped me cut the ribbon. We stood to the side while doing this. She made a very difficult day a little easier and when I complimented her and thanked her, she gestured toward the lady and said, "this is my supervisor". When I complimented Kelsi to her supervisor, she never acknowledged Kelsi or thanked me. Perhaps she was having a bad day, too. I should mention, it was not a busy time of day and the two additional people working at the service desk were not overwhelmed with returns, exchanges, etc.

If you plan on spending $4000 for items, don't expect to get good customer service because you don't. If you are told the item is in stock, you pay for it, don't expect it to be in stock. When you call to check on your order and told everything is on time, don't expect it to be. When you schedule time off from the job you have that gives you the money to pay for the item don't expect them to keep the delivery time. Bottom line, don't expect anything from the Hurstbourne Home Depot and then you won't be disappointed.
