John and Kerry in plumbing are patient, knowledgeable and friendly. The rest of the staff is good too. The one drawback is the store does not rent tools or equipment.

The employees were consistently friendly. Jim in plumbing went above and beyond to find information about the shower door i had purchased.

This Home Depot is the best I’ve dealt with so far and I have been to many home improvement stores. They have everything I need and more. The employees all provide excellent customer service. Particularly I’d like to mention Mark, Tori, and John for going above and beyond for me when I ran into issues with tools I purchased. They exchanged them following the warranties without question and I was able to complete the restoration of my 120 yr old home. Thank you all so much!!!

The store was very clean. I was asked by 3-4 associates if I required assistance. I requested a price on an item and the associate used his scanner to find the price for me. The associate at checkout Lori was very friendly and professional.

All associates were helpful and friendly. Patrick in appliances was fantastic! He helped us find the right dishwasher, but he also gave us the time and space we needed to make a decision and answered our questions when we were ready. Then, he made sure my husband knew what he needed to regarding hooking it up and personally took him to find the other parts he would need. I was not expecting the extra help after the purchase, and we really appreciated it!

I have shopped at so many different building supply type stores in Michigan as well as other states and found this particular store to be my favorite. They are very accommodating and they carry enough product for just about everything you need. It is a smaller store so they use the space wisely and seem to move inventory at a decent rate. The bins are much more attended to which means the correct items are where they are supposed to be. That's a big deal for me. Nobody likes to reach in spot for a 6" black pipe and discover at the job it's really 4 1/2". When I had returned items, there has never been any issue and they make it easy. This is my store for sure. Been using it since they opened it and it has always been great.

The customer service at this store is excellent. Especially in the hardware department, the employees were so polite and helpful when I took locks in to be rekeyed. I will be shopping here again.

I love shopping at this Home Depot which is located in Houghton Lake Michigan, because they have a wide selection of products and also items that are geared for women as well. There’s always something new that I happen to see every time I go in. I like how the store is cup fresh and clean even in the little corners there’s no dirt particles gathered up it’s all nice and tidy. The prices are great too.

Clean and friendly location

I live in Georgia and have a cottage on Higgins Lake and shop at this store frequently when I am in the area. The staff has always been very friendly and out the extra mile to assist you with your shopping needs. Very competitive and fair prices. My dog loves to shop there to. The staff have makes him feel welcome and a few even provide a treat or two.

I have only been in our local Home Depot twice since covid-19 oh, and I have to say I was more than ecstatic to be in there shopping again! I love my Home Depot in Houghton Lake Michigan, they have everything that you could imagine and plus the store associates are extremely friendly and they're right there to help you if you need help.

I've been to many home improvement stores, other Home Depot stores included. For some reason, the entire staff at this store seems friendly and welcoming. Everyone seems happy to work there....even during Covid-19.

Great job on trying to maintain normal pricing on materials!!

I had a bit of a challenge replacing a broken storm door handle on my older home. Jack D. helped me every step of the way. We had to do some creative thinking to get what I needed to get it done. I had not done this on my own before. Something that started out simple to do turned out to be not quite so simple because of the house itself. But with Jack's help, got it done. Thank you! You guys are the best!
