This store is the worst I have ever experienced. There is little customer service and knowledge by employees and no one will go any extra for a customer. Their answer is”we can’t do that it is Home Depot policy” I will only shop at Lowe’s or ACE in the future. You all lost a long time client. You all should really re-evaluate your employee practices and customer service policy. Avoid this store!! They just don’t care about their customers.

AT THE TIME OF MY VISIT, THERE WAS ONLY ONE REGISTER INSIDE OPEN WITH SEVERAL PEOPLE IN LINE. I WAS OFFERED TO GO TO THE SELF CHECKOUT, BUT BECAUSE I HAD A FULL GARDEN CART WITH OTHER MICELLANEOUS ITEMS, I DID NOT WANT TO RING UP MY ORDER ON MY OWN. I EXPRESSED THIS WITH THE CASHIER AT SELF CHECK OUT AS WELL AS TO MY HUSBAND. AN EMPLOYEE OVER HEARD AND IMMEDIATELY WENT TO A REGISTER AND OFFERED TO RING UP MY ORDER. SHE WAS VERY FRIENDLY, POLITE AND EFFICIENT! I AM A PAST EMPLOYEE OF HOME DEPOT (I WORKED AT #2506 IN MD FOR 14 YEARS) AND WAS HAPPY TO SEE THAT THE WONDERFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE STILL EXISTS AT HOME DEPOT TODAY!! THANK YOU ESTEFANIA!!! :)

The sales associate Diana was so helpful and went the extra mile to find an item in stock that was very large and had to get a forklift to help get it

We are very fortunate to have HD #0270 close to home. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Store is organized, tidy and well stocked up with plenty of options on various items. We do appreciate the military discount which is a great way to thank our military service women and men for their service and dedication to our country. Keep up the great work!

Standard of no service continues to prevail. HD has taken zero responsibility during the Covid crisis, simply allowing customers to do as they like endangering others in the process.

The store was clean and I'm glad I went on Sunday evening. Wesley in Plumbing was friendly and helpful and let me know on the phone the model water heater I wanted was the last one in stock. He reserved it for me and inspected it for damage. None found. Alex at Customer Service was very efficient, attentive and helpful. He set up my account and gave me the appropriate discounts. Then he put my item in will call for my plumber to pickup. Well done guys!

Has a better selection of materials and stock than the other location in Gainesville. Always has a clean premises and friendly workers that are willing to help you find something.

Diana was the cashier. She was very friendly and efficient. The store had exactly what I needed. Great shopping experience.

Awesome customer service

I did not like that shoppers were not required to wear face masks. The employee explained that they are not allowed to say anything to customers about wearing masks. However, stores like Hobby Lobby will stop customers at the door and if they are not wearing a face mask they are asked to put one on or are turned away.

This Home Depot usually has everything I need when I have a home repair project coming up or any gardening needs. I sometimes have to call ahead to check their stock, but if you use their online store before shopping, that will cut down your time at the actual store since the inventory is typically up-to-date. Returns are fast and easy (if you have a receipt or if it's a Home Depot product) plus there are always friendly, helpful employees around to ask for assistance. The bathrooms are clean enough and general upkeep of the store is 9/10 (can't be too critical if too many customers are messy). A bonus perk of this Home Depot location is if you're not in a rush to leave and you enjoy watching ducks, visit the muscovy ducks that are hanging out across the street at the large pond.

A salesperson walked me to the item and helped find it. He was knowledgeable when Iasked a question about it. I didn't notice his name. I will make a point to notice names from now on.

This store has practically everything that I want. And it is very well loaded with good items. I do have a slight problem with Bermuda grass sod. They come and disappear fast.

I can always count on good products and good service at this very pleasant Home Depot!

This and ocala are my stores. I have been in both stores recently to purchase 2X4. Both stores had inferior lumber. Split, warped. I had to purchase at a farm supply. I have just noticed this recently.

I always go to this store with my husband and we usually find what we need. If I can't find something, there's usually an employee around to ask for help. The employees are friendly, polite, and are wearing facemasks. Kyle at the Customer Service Desk is the best at what he does. Also, If I need to use the restroom, it's usually clean and stocked with the essentials. The self-checkout is typically fast too :)

I went for paint and supplies for a crazy dresser project. GREGG and KARINA were awesome. GREGG mixed beautiful colors for me and KARINA was like the brain I forgot to bring with me in my rush to get paint. Lots of friendly advice, made sure to save me from making mistakes and made sure I got the things I would have forgotten like tape and proper brushes. Super friendly. Super clean. Will go there every time I need anything from now on. 10 out of 10!

Employees are ready to help with your needs

The nursery staff were extremely helpful and upbeat. I dealt with four employees and every one of them went out of their way to help me find what I wanted, load the heavy items onto my cart, check out my merchandise, and load it into my car.
