Got to say, may not be the cleanest but they have the products in stock and I have never wanted to find a body when I needed help.

If you are looking for a Home Depot with excellent customer service- this is the Home Depot for you! Employees are actually helpful (unlike Germantown). The employees also know the products they sell. They give advice on projects. Great store! Will go back again.

This store is well stocked and has a great selection. The customer service is excellent and I have never had a bad experience here.

Alejandra “Rose” helped us during check out and although we were a pain she helped with a smile on her face. Good customer service is hard to come by now a days but she was friendly and professional.

The store associates here are extremely rude and unhelpful. They also filter only positive reviews on this site and reject all others.

It's hard to find someone to help in the store, and associates are rude and seem inconvenienced when you ask for assistance. If you need help loading your purchase, plan on going back in the store to ask several times before someone comes to help. Even then, plan on doing most of the heavy lifting because the seem put out and unable to lift very much at all.

Tony and Marty in paint were over the top kind and helped me pick the perfect paint color for my bathroom & kitchen. I don’t have an artistic eye yet they made me feel like some of my ideas were great and made me feel like I mattered. They pulled up swatches, got our books to show different colors in different lightings. They were patient and just super friendly! I wanted to pull up a chair and drink coffee with them. Super super nice people! Samantha at service desk was phenomenal! She was kind, patient and hard working. The computer system went down and I had to wait awhile for them to call IT support. She took a percentage off my bill for my time. I appreciate all 3 of them! They deserve a raise and employee of the month status!! Thanks again, everyone! I’ll be back to this Home Depot only!!

While a HUGE store, this Home Depot, in terms of customer service comes closest to the old hardware store in the town I was rasied in. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable and most willing to work with you to be sure that you buy what you need for a given home improvement project. THey see me so often that they come over to help me. I explain what I am working on and they offer suggestions as to the equipment and supplies I will need to do a quality job. In over 20 years of being a Home Depot customer, they have never steered me wrong or sold me stuff I did not need for the job. Further, they offer numberous helpful hints as to the correct way to execute the job. It is a joy to shop at The Home Deport.

No I would no longer recommend ANY Home Depot store that forces me to work there, by ringing up my own purchases, without pay. I did not apply for a job there. I do not get an employee discount. There were no cash registers with working cashiers. There were 2 cashiers that greeted me, but they did not ring up my purchase. I was forced to ring myself up. I am not employed there! Why is Home Depot helping to destroy our society? How are people supposed to earn a living if you don’t hire people? If all retailers had self serve only, who will have the income to purchase merchandise at stores? The head honchos & stock holders won’t be getting their share if no one can afford to purchase anything. How will students earn their way through college? How will retirees earn extra income to pay for their prescriptions? I am saddened that retail work is going the way of the DoDo bird. I won’t say I’ll never shop at Home Depot again, but I won’t be there as often.

There are two The Home Depot's in Frederick; this one is farther away from my home but I will always come to this one for my home improvement or project needs! The level of competency, friendliness, and professionalism at this store is unbeatable. Every time I ask for advice on a project, I get it. If the associate does not have an answer, he/she finds someone who does.

Marty and Doug (paint dept) were awesome!! They took time to help me pick between 2 colors. My front door looks beautiful!

My husband and I have done 3 home renovations in the past 4 years almost exclusively using Homedepot. There were hardly any issues and if there were the store resolved the problem promptly. I can not say enough about the staff at this Homedepot. Every department has knowledgeable associates ready to help you find a product or answer a question. Great job crew!! We will be back

Good and hard working people

This location is very convenient in terms of the surrounding stores. The products are easy to find and comparably priced to other hardware stores. I have never had a negative experience with the cashiers or customer service desk employees. The cashiers are always friendly and courteous. The customer service desk employees are always helpful when there isn't a long line to wait in. However, my struggle is finding someone on the floor for assistance. Finding someone always take longer than getting the products. They are always willing to help but very inconveniently placed. Other than that, great store!

Store is always clean and staff friendly and helpful. Good sale items usually. Great store location and easy access.

Custom ordering windows and doors is easy and a pleasant experience with their knowledgeable staff.

Tom (in mill work at the Buckeystown location in Frederick) spent so much time answering all of our questions about exterior doors. His expertise, advice and patience were much needed and appreciated. I could not thank him enough.

Coral, our cashier was able to save us $100.00 by opening a Home Depot Credit Card account. We were a little disappointed that the department employee did not realize the replacement door panels we purchased required an extra piece to complete the installation. Additionally Home Depot did not carry the item in stock that slowed this installation process.

Store is always clean and neat. You can trust tne staff here to give you good sound advise.

Barbara Piece is an excellent Appliance Specialist and made my purchase extremely easy. I’ll recommend her to anyone who needs to purchase appliances.

poor customer service

The employees here are excellent. They take time to answer questions, and have even walked me to the isle with the product I wanted to buy. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Not all of the Home Depot's I been to have offered this kind of experience, but the Frederick store is very good!

Great service and friendly staff made this store shine! We will return!
