This store may appeal to the needs of small projects and be helpful to most. But when I couldn’t get a single employe to help me load privacy fence panels while my 86 year grandpa in a walker struggled to help me the store gets 1 star. And before you think why did I ask an 86 year old man to help I had several employees avoid eye contact with us as close as 5 feet just to avoid being asked to help. I’ve bought lumber at other home improvement stores and all have helped me load my truck or trailer. The cashier simple said I could “pull” my trailer up to load them but didn’t ask anyone to help me when I addressed it to him. Parking doesn’t even allow you to to pull in a trailer easily, cramped.

Friendly and helpful

I went shopping at The Home Depot in Okemos Michigan. This was my first stop to check product and prices. A sales associate named Joe in the appliance Dept. came to me and answered all of my questions. I was so comfortable and impressed with Joe that my shopping stopped right there and I bought my dishwasher right then and there.

It was very busy in the garden center, yet the staff was very pleasant and helpful. In particular, a young lady by the name of Catherine who muscled up some very heavy patio blocks onto a cart, and then into my car for me!

I just purchased a dishwasher. Joe was my sales associate. He bent over backwards to accommodate my questions and needs. I was treated more than fairly.

The service I receive is friendly and professional

Angie, an assistant manager and Jacob helped my wife order an item, they only had one of in the store. This allowed them to keep a display and get one for us. That was very helpful.

Employees at this location are always pleasant and very helpful. Store is clean and well organized.

Customer service at this store has always been amazing. Employees go above and beyond.

This is more of an employee review. Collete is THE best. She helped me with SO MANY things concerning the plumbing project I have to do at home. VERY knowledgeable about her store(where stuff is) AND HOW to do the job I was going to do. This was the single best interaction I've ever had with any employee at any store ever.

there is a very large difference in the knowledge of the employees in the trades dept.!

Received great assistance from Madeline as she went above and beyond to help us get the flooring we wanted and needed for our project! She was courteous, knowledgeable and ensured to check on items we needed - she solved a website issue with SKU numbers and am so very grateful.

Great store, friendly staff

In Fall of 2020, Charles in the Okemos MI Home Depot store was extremely patient in helping me open up a discount card. He went way beyond in his patience...a very important attribute to have. In summer of 2020, an employee let me have new lightbulbs after my originals broke. She was very understanding. All of the employees are very helpful. In summer of 2020, another woman went out of her way to make sure I got the right tall container to store tall tools. It was perfect! Employees have taken the time to walk me directly to the departments even if they are further than usual. All of this happened in the same Okemos MI Home Depot Store. I enjoy shopping there.

Helpful from the entrance of the store for a question and at check-out where the employee wiped the scanner and screen at all the stations as soon as the customer completed their transaction. Wish other types of retailers were as efficient!

Received Excellent service in purchasing a Washer and Dryer from Alyssa at the #2723 Okemos store.

Store was clean and personnel were helpful and friendly and all that. I have a wood burning heater inside my house and may need new tri-wall chimney piping next year as well as the black stove pipe sections inside the room. Home Depot does not stock such items as wood burning heaters and associated parts. You should add this item to your inventory so people don't have to go to a specialized retailer for these items as they price these things far above their value. I don't think a wood burner heater should cost as much as a new gas furnace - that's ridiculous. Please consider stocking wood burner heaters and associated supplies and chimney parts. Thanks.

The store was clean and took proper safety measures. The employees in the blinds department and appliances were incredible. It was a very successful and stress-free experience. Would recommend this Home Depot as your go-to hardware store.

I have owned a customer service business for 40 years so I recognize an appreciate great service. Sunday I received the most exceptional service from a Mgr. named Mike. We had an emergency and were stranded. A tree fell over our driveway, we had an important Doctors appointment early Monday so we couldn't wait to have it removed. I called the Okemos store to see if they could deliver an electric chainsaw. Not only did Mike help us select one but he personally delivered it and would not accept anything in return. Not only was this exceptional service but a "random act of human kindness". This store and Mike should be commended for their service, expertise (the chain saw was perfect) and kindness. These are rare qualities in any business. Thank you Mike and the Okemos Home Depot!!

The store is clean, friendly and helpful staff. Sometimes not enough staff when you go at slower times of the day so have to look for them but when you do find them they are always helpful. Most items are well stocked and when they are not available staff is able to find out when items "should " be in store. App is very useful also so I know exactly where to go in the store.

The sales cashier , Suzanne, was very helpful with my purchase. She explained how the extended warranty would be something to consider for my table saw. I normally don't buy extended warranties, but when she told me that it begins the day after the manufacturer's expired instead of the day of my purchase, it was worth the money.

The service at the store was great!. I bought a washer and dryer and was assisted by Mikan, she was very helpful will purchase again from Mikan, excellent customer service! Thank You

The Okemos store is clean and well organized. The workers were friendly and competent. I was pleased to see containers to put used gloves and facemasks in.

The employees at this store have always been very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I appreciate their attention and ability to answer questions, even the dumb ones I sometimes ask!

Home Depot is my main ‘go to store’ for home improvements. Employees are knowledgeable and helpful!

We are very pleased and happy about how two Okemos MI Home Depot employees helped us after work on August 13, 2020 between 9:00 PM and 9:30PM when they helped us jump start our car. Our car’s battery died. These two employees were joyful and eager to help. It would be good for them to be recognized and receive some type of reward for this loving deed.
