There are many home improvement stores. I would investigate them before visiting this location.

Sore is always clean and well supplied. They almost always have everything i need.

great store

I was told to go online to homedepot.com for a 11% rebate to match Menards 11% rebate, which was the beginning of a nightmare. The webpage had nothing concerning an 11% rebate. Repeated searches of the website were futile and frustrating. I called the "800" customer disservice and got an endless loop of irrelevant options. It finally rang through to "customer disservice" but I waited and waited 58 minutes before getting a totally incompetent representative who had no clue about an 11% rebate. The customer service line asked me to remain on the line to answer a quick survey, but that never rang through or materialized. My life is too important to waste with Home Depot. I feel like I was lied to about the 11% rebate because no one seems to know anything about it.

Generally, the store is clean and the employees are helpful and knowledgeable. During a recent trip to the store, I was treated in such a terrible manner, by an employee named Sally, that I will not patronize the store again. She was extremely rude and unprofessional!! Normally, I only fill out reviews to compliment an organization and its employees. I know folks work hard and I try to keep my business local. This is the first time I've felt compelled to write a review to complain - that's how poorly I was treated. She needs HR to step in and provide training on Customer Service best practices.

i am very happy with the Home Depot in Duluth MN, I have always wanted to put in wood looking tile & the staff there are very knowledgeable & helpful, I have my first room competed & love it! Thank you

The paint department staff was excellent!

Everyone at the Duluth store has been super helpful and provided a truly exceptional experience! Glen was very helpful with our flooring order and Jake and his team were great with the install. Eric was very helpful with out kitchen design and Shane did an awesome job installing out kitchen cabinets! I will recommend them to anyone.

Eric in the cabinet department is the best I have ever worked with. He was patient and SUPER knowledgeable. We changed our plans numerous times and he just went with the flow ... meeting our expectations at every turn. We were very pleased with not only the price, but the service, as well.

Exemplary customer service every time.

Consistently good store experience with employees, service and selection. Today, a young man named Dakota helped me in the flooring department. He was incredibly knowledgeable and helped me select the right rug, carried it to the service counter and then out to my car! In addition, this store is so dog friendly, it makes it fun to come in with my dog and he knows which stations to go to that have the treats.

Customer service desk is easy to deal with. Arlene is one of the best customer service employees I have ever had assist me. Paint department is also very friendly and easy to work with.

Usually has just what you need.

Very helpful employees. They assist with looking for product, loading product and even bring it to the register for you. All of the employees were very kind and helpful.

I’ve always found customer service to be very friendly and helpful and the store to be in good order and clean. However, the product availability has not been the greatest. We were told that the store receives whatever corporate sends them, but you’d think that they would send items a bit more according to the state and city that the store is located in. I say this because we have gone to the store several times to get snow removal supplies and on numerous occasions things like ice melt, roof rakes, shear puns, and other snow removal needed supplies have been sold out or unavailable. Ina a city where we get so much snow, it would be nice to ship more items that are particular to this stores needs.

My staff associates Arlene and Larry made my entire buying experience the best from setting up an account to purchasing garage doors with contractor instillation! Very knowledgable, professional, and kind.

I have always received amazingly friendly, competent and efficient help at the clean and well organized Duluth Home Depot store. It doesn't get better than this! (Well, maybe an extra real live cashier would be helpful at times!)

Patrick really listened to what I needed and went out of his way to find the right item I needed. He also took me to the item and showed me how to use it.

Store was clean. Salesperson in Doors/windows was very helpful and knowledgeable as were other employees I needed during my visit.

Friendly Store

Plenty of available product PLUS friendly and professional “assistants” at checkout..

The older gentleman in the lighting department; I believe his name may be Charlie; was so kind and helpful. He checked on me twice and answered all my questions and was so respectful. He is a gem of an employee and all employees can learn form him on how to treat a customer.

The staff in the flooring department (3 of them at the desk) were discussing a staffing issue and we stood there. The obvious boss, Earl, looked at us and said we will be with you shortly and the discussion continued long enough that we decided to shop elsewhere. Internal staffing issues have no place on the sales floor. Then we ran into him later and asked for directions to some storage items. He sent us from one side of the store to the other and no dice. We finally ran into a couple of other employees that apparently know what customer service is all about and they helped us find our items. They are why I gave this store 3 stars.

USUALLY FIND WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR. HAVE PURCHASED, CARPETING AND APPLIANCES AT A FAIR PRICE. QUALITY PRODUCTS. STORE PERSONELL ALWAYS HELPFUL WHEN i DEALT WITH THEM.

The store manager was so gracious and helpful. He went out of his way to help me find paint samples, and he suggested I buy a sample first, which I wasn't aware of. He welcomed me to the store and shook my hand and thanked me for shopping at the Home Depot. Such a wonderful warm and welcoming smile. Thank you Patrick, Store Manager. I want to thank Taylor, the associate who mixed my sample. He was equally as helpful, kind, and patient. Both thanked me and both gentleman did everything with such a warm and welcoming smile.. Thank you gentleman
