This store is very clean and all the employees are very joyful with costomers..

Customer service is spotty but overall staff is friendly and welcoming. I feel that they can staff each individual department better. It's difficult to find someone in every department for help. Clusters of employees were discovered socializing in customer service and on the floor . They could have been better utilized elsewhere with more manager oversight. Their product areas may have been slow but they could have easily asked their department manager if there was somewhere else they were needed. are Many employeest are tied up with restocking and not available for questions about products or where to find them. They may be overstaffed in some areas at certain times. They could make better use of their employees.

Brian, sales associate in kitchen appliances, was very helpful. After much thought, I decided to purchase a new refrigerator. A sales associate informed me of the Labor Day sale and I decided that would be the best time to make my purchase. The refrigerators displayed were quite impressive. But considering the amount of space available in my kitchen, I went online and found the Whirlpool model refrigerator ideal for me.....and my budget. I plan to shop again at Home Depot for appliances and home improvement needs.

Wonderful experience purchasing flooring for a room in our basement. My husband is pretty handy but had not installed this type of floor before. Maria in flooring helped us select a product; found the product and helped us order the correct amount; helped my husband find some tools that made installation easy. The floor is beautiful! Absolutely recommend the products and service for flooring- try to find Maria! She’s great!

Living in the neighborhood helps get to know to know the employees and they get to know you. This is definitely a plus.

If you are going for a simple storm door installation, this might not be the place. Sales Reps are OK but system and process takes too long and confusion. The process to get an installed storm door is coming up on a month and I still have not heard when they will be out to install the storm door. I have already paid for the door and installation. The process has cost me hours.

Very friendly staff, clean store easily found what I needed.

EVERY time you look at an employee in this store, they turn their head and almost run away from you. The employees at this store are beyond rude and I hate my shopping experience her so much... That is why I shop on line lots to avoid this type of treatment.

If you need help at this store look for the friendliest cashier I the world; Haley. She is amazing and a please to work with to get the solution to what your looking for.

Had a great experience last week in flooring with Maria. She was attentive, efficient, and pleasant. By locating our past order from 2 years ago, Maria was able to quickly begin our new carpet order and get us out the door with a measurement appointment set up and ready to move forward. She then took a second step by calling us the next day and alerting us of a promotional financing offer that was about to expire. That's service above and beyond; thanks Maria.

The staff is generally helpful, they have most things in stock, and the self-checkout is the best anywhere. However, the store seems old, out dated, and cluttered/messy. Many of the displays seem shoddily put together and/or broken. Many aisles are cramped and cluttered (especially the tool aisle). Would recommend Home Depot consider remodeling this store to make it cleaner, better laid out, and more modern. Not as good as other Home Depot stores I've been to in the area.

They have combined RETURNS with ONLINE ORDER PICKUP. What used to take 30 seconds to make a return can now take 15 minutes, depending on how many pickups there are ahead of you. They should have a separate line for returns, like in the old days.

We came in with multiple needs as we just moved to Columbia. Each associate we interacted with was helpful. There are so many decisions to make and products to choose from. It was great not feeling rushed as we asked questions.

This store doesn't extend military discounts to veterans on wood purchases. I purchased $30 worth of wood and was told Home Depot does not discount wood purchases. I have been given a 10% discount in the past on wood purchases so I guess they must have made a mistake then or else they have changed their policy. The fat sloppy representative at customer service was rude and snappy and told me "Home Depot has never given military discount on wood". This is not the Home Depot I usually shop at because I have had problems with this store before. I will do my best to never shop at Home Depot again especially this store.

I couldn't find what I needed so I asked a couple of the employees. They were not helpful so I went to the return desk and the lady that helped me didn't know where what I needed was located, so she asked someone in another dept. for assistance who was able to get exactly what I needed. Checkout was wonderful. No line and a very cheerful and friendly cashier named Jeneille.

Armando "Assitant manager" makes the whole store looks bad. He needs serious retraining and he needs to work on his customer service skills when dealing with customers he was rude and utterly disgusting and not helpful in me asking for assitance in finding a product. He brushed me off and took a personal phone call in the MIDDLE OF the aisle. I did nothing to this guy but ask for simple help, due to this I will make it priority to report his actions to the District manager, Store manager and HR. He was so nostaligic and when I passed him again in the store he did not even apoligize for his customer service skills. -- However, I would like to thank Perri, YOU WERE OUTSTANDING! thank you for apoligizing for his actions, and HELPING ME. I hope they assign you to teach him How to be a "manager" he has no bussiness having that title. Disgusting Mr, Edwards this employeee was disgusting!

The salesgirl was very polite and helpful. She came with me to help me with my purchase.

The store had the products I needed as advertized in the paper! I was assisted by very knowledgeable associate.

I took a detour from my contractor's kitchen designer and I'm glad I did. Nichole M at the Columbia HD is an outstanding kitchen designer. She designed an aesthetically pleasing and functional kitchen and kitchenette. I saved 20% compared to the other "discounted" kitchen place. My money was well spent. Great customer service too!

This last visit to HD really left an impact on me. I went in in search of a cure for my dying plants.Tommy Giblin (HD employee) stopped me and offered his help. I showed him photos of my plants, and he told me to bring them in. The next day, I bought new soil and fertilizer that Tommy recommended, he potted them himself, and coached me on how to maintain them. Now they're all happy and thriving again! Tommy is such an asset, he's passionate about his work and goes above and beyond for customers.

Never enough employees willing or able to help find things. Even when they say they can help they have no idea what they are doing. Always out of individual sockets and adapters I need regularly. Very poorly staffed store.
