We had an excellent experience while recently shopping for a new washer. The two store associates, one from the appliance department and one from the kitchen renovation department, were extremely helpful in answering our questions and reviewing options/features on several models. There was no pressure from either of them for us to make a hurried decision. Delivery was timely and efficient. Based on this particular experience I know that any future appliance shopping needs will take us back to The Home Depot in Chardon, OH.

A theft occurred at this particular location while I was shopping with my wife and two boys, ages 12 and 3. The staff handled it correctly, no attempts to apprehend (although it crossed my mind as a former Law Enforcement officer, lol). They made every effort to get an accurate description of the theft offender, did not attempt to physically restrain him, vocally asked him to stop loudly several times. My kids were a bit shaken by witnessing this but the staff there was very calming, professional and assured my children they were safe and not to worry. As much as I'd like to see the guy caught and prosecuted for his actions, everyone was safe. We left with our purchased products unscathed. Thank you.

With the help of the employees, I found everything I needed. It was a great experience and everyone is helpful, both men and women.

We can always find what we need when doing our home improvement projects. Materials are easy to find and the store is clean. Employees are friendly and helpful when needed!!

No one knows where anything is, even if you can find someone to ask in the first place. Go to Lowe’s and skip this terrible experience.

I visited this store last night while looking for items for my daughters new home projects. I found everything I needed, including items for several Christmas gift projects I need to make. Was very impressed with the neatness, service help, check out and variety of selections for everything I needed, or may want in the future. Will be back!

Store was sell stocked, but trying to check out with large items was a hassle. This needs to be fixed.

A fantastic customer service experience thanks to Dan (in Gardening). Very rarely do you find someone in retail during the holiday season who seems to enjoy helping customers like he does. I have been visiting this store since it opened. It is a clean store and most items are usually in stock. I can not fairly count the year 2020 that has been extra rough with intermittent supply shortages at all of the retail and home improvement stores. However, even with the hardships the employees are facing due to Covid-19 they are friendly and willing to help when needed. I have only talked with one store manager. (Kurt) It was over a positive issue related to community relations. He was a great help. This store truly supports its local community.

During Covid-19 I appreciate the Chardon location (as you first walk in) having plenty of sanitizing items to make the customers feel comfortable, then you notice the cleanliness and organization of items, and that there are plenty of staff to help you. And also they have been following the recommendations of the CDC and our Governor to keep the safety of your customers number #1. So if you feel uncomfortable shopping for items during Covid-19 be rest assured: I think you can get in & out of my Home Depot in a breeze.

This is a clean and neat store. The employees were all friendly and there were enough of them on duty for a Sunday. They had the appliance I wanted with a reasonable delivery time, which is a lot more than I was getting from other stores of this type It had been 2 other stores and they could not get me into the delivery system until Jan-Feb. 2021.

The employees are always very helpful and knowledgeable, it makes shopping a great deal easier.

This store in Chardon, OH is always clean and well stocked. Their staff is always ready to help and the cashiers always have a smile!

Before and as you walk in the store, there are signs saying that masks are required. I stood in line to return an item and the lady in front of me was not wearing a mask. She was waited on and I had the same clerk as her for my return. I asked the clerk why she took care of that person. Her response was we do not want confrontation. So rather than trying to keep everyone safe, this store will post all kinds of signs requiring a mask, but will do nothing about the ones who do not comply. All it takes is to say: I am sorry, but we will not serve you or check you out without a mask, for the safety of all of us. I blame the store management for this safety lapse. It almost seems that Home Depot is more concerned with the sale than the safety of all of us.

The Chardon store is always a pleasant place to visit. All of the staff are friendly and helpful and go above to not just point at an aisle but take you to the product that you are looking for. In addition, I really appreciate the Veteran parking spot.

When I had called the store to check availability there were very nice clerks on the phone who answered promptly and who tried to resolve the issue at hand. I was not left on hold very long and they were professional as well as courteous. Upon arriving to pick up my product, I was greeted by a young man who was being trained. Both him and the trainer were very helpful. I would have liked help out to my vehicle with my purchase as I am handicapped but made it ok.

Employees are super nice and went out of their way to help make my vision a reality. Also my visit was super quick! Not sure if it was because of corona but I didn’t feel like I was wandering around for hours. :)

We make many trips each month and spend a good amount of money here. Every experience is great for us. John in plumbing, Sherry at register are just a couple of the amazing employees Chardon has!

I love this store and typically I have pleasant experiences. Lately, the amount of rude employees is shocking! I only ever see one person who seems to be the head cashier that ever smiles or makes a customer feel welcome. In my most recent experience, I walked in and two young ladies at the cash register made a rude remark about me. I should have told their supervisor and walked out without a single purchase. I was so offended that I had to hear that having barely stepping into the store. Very unpleasant experience.

Amanda (store manager) is a super star. She's able to solve problems when there seems to be no reasonable answer. If all employees everywhere were like her, shopping would be a great adventure. THANKS AMANDA!!!!!
