A Great Place to Shop for a Wide Variety of Products --- It is Not Just Nails and Toilet Snakes This store is clean, well-stocked, and a pleasure to shop in. The employees, many of whom are bilingual, are extremely pleasant and helpful. They do not wait for you to search them out, but offer to help when they see you ----- yet they are not pushy, just polite and helpful. Also, I have found when looking for something special, if the first person I see is not totally familiar with a department, he/she will find someone who is to help me. Also, if when you ask for the location of something, they do not just point or give an aisle number, but when possible, take you to the proper place. This is a great, well-run, store.

Very friendly staff. As a homeowner constantly making repairs and upgrades to our home, the first place to get our supplies is Home Depot in Central Islip. The staff is very helpful and the contractors hired by Home Depot do excellent work. I would highly recommend this Home Depot location (Central Islip).

I had a flood in my basement and went to get a wet/dry vac. Mike L the employee that helped me went out of his way assisting me. He had me get instead a sump pump. Mike took the time to show me how to connect it and use it. The employees here are always ready to assist you as soon as you walk into the store.

If you ever go to this store you would be lucky to be assisted by Jack. He will bend over backwards helping you.. i have been in some stores where a salesperson would just say its not their department and then disappear. Not the case here, I would return here in the future.

Good stock and usually good order in store. Can be short with on floor staff. Inopportune times to mess with over head stock blocking Isles.

Great Staff & Friendly Service!

This location very often has items in stock that are often hard to find or locate on other locations.

I have been to many Home Depots in the past. Since I have moved to the area I have been going to the Central Islip location and am very Pleased with their service. There is always a knowledgeable person on hand to help!
