All the employees (especially the salty ones) are very experienced and always assist/recommend suggestions.

I shop Home Depot all the time - this time as before it was difficult to find help to explain type of product and arrange to purchase and install - the person at the service desk did not seem to have knowledge in setting up delivery and installation - took a long time to pay and get paperwork - the next day I received a call from installer - who set up install time - I called home depot and found out the service rep misunderstood delivery for installation

Exceptional service and hardworking staff! Wouldn’t hesitate to shopping at this location again.

I purchased a freezer on New Years Day 2019 from the Carmel Mountain Home Depot and was so happy with the help I received. The Appliance Specialist Mark was Awesome! He was polite, friendly, patient, and very well knowledgeable about the product. He helped me to figure out which freezer would work best for my needs. He compared several models for me, which made it clear which one I would end up purchasing. Thank you Mark for all your help and the great shopping experience. Having a freezer break down on New Years day was very stressful but your help in my purchase really made it a lot better. I will shop here again and will recommend you to everyone as I had a wonderful experience.

The store was a shambles.But, it was to be expected,due to the major project of setting up for the holidays and Black Friday. The good part was that employees took it in stride and did not let it effect their support of customer needs. Case in point, My cashier (Gargi), who normally process returned merchandise, checked me out. I was impressed by the cheerful double duty attitude.

Employees are helpful. A young employee in painting department really took time & steps to help me if I can reuse a leftover flat latex painting on my ceiling. Unfortunately I lost his name. Many employees I ran into offered me timely help. I really appreciate

Carmel Mtn. Home Depot is the cleanest and neatest Home Depot in San Diego county. All the staff is very knowledgeable and the friendlyest of all the Home Depot’s as well.

I had some complicated irrigation connections to make. I came to the store on two separate occasions. On both occasions, Dennis in plumbing asked if I needed help. When I described the problems, he knew exactly what I needed and helped me find all the parts required to fix my issues. Very happy with Dennis, and the store overall.

Worst Customer Service possible. Purchased a dining table and 6 chairs for about $1,200. Was told items would be delivered between 6AM and 8PM (a 14 hour window?!!!). After waiting for 8 hours (6AM until 2PM) Home Depot called to say the Delivery Company did not have time to deliver my table and chairs today. I asked to cancel my order and was told that cancellations must be done in person. Took about 45 minutes in the store to cancel my order. During that time two employees, separately, told me this happens a lot with their delivery service. I lost my day off and still don't have a table. Home Depot Customer Service and delivery policies are ridiculously bad. I wont be shopping here again

This Home Depot continues to strive to get worse than it has previously been! Didn't think that was possible! Cheap garbage items in the isles making navigation with a cart next to impossible; consistently out of 30-40% of the items you need; inventory constantly relocated to other parts of the store and difficult to find unless asking for help. Can't find store clerks for help and when you do about half of them are purely rude! The Carmel Mt. Home depot has always been and continues to be the WORST managed Retail outlet on the West Coast. It's got another new manager, and NOTHING HAS CHANGED OR IMPROVED! Unless you really want to have a frustrating experience, I wouldn't bother wasting yur time by going to Carmel Mt. Home depot to get the things you need.

Customer service at this store absolutely SUCKS! Workers at the paint counter stare at the mixing machine while mixing paint, rather than assisting other customers. Return desk workers sort items into buckets instead of waiting on other customers and sorting items into buckets when there aren't any customers waiting in line. Do you purposely hire workers with no common sense nor customer service skills? Customers seem to be an inconvenience for your workers. Try multitasking & prioritizing!

This Store is a GREAT store to shop at !!!!!!!!

If you can, go to the Scripps Poway location just a few miles away. Much easier to navigate, better parking, not as crowded and typically a much easier shopping experience. This store seems cramped. The aisles are closer together which makes it difficult to navigate when they have a lot of promotional items on the floor throughout the store. Also, the layout of the store is odd in that the isles face different ways in different parts of the store, so getting around from one side of the store to the other when trying to find something can be like navigating a maze. When the checkout lines get long, they backup into the main walkway and make it difficult to navigate around, or the lines spill into the aisles and people are having to move around customers waiting in line to get things off the shelves. The rental desk is always utter chaos as well. There have been several times I have been there when they weren't away of if the vehicles were checked out or available, and the associates had to go outside to check and look in several places to locate the keys. Parking at this location is typically crowded at this location as well. They have put a bunch of sheds and other items in the parking lot that take up parking spaces, and as the location is surrounded by a few restaurants, going around lunch or dinnertime can make finding a spot a bit time consuming. Overall, this locations biggest issue is the building and lot itself. They need more room both inside and out.
